This was the article, https://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-theme-park-crime-20170109-story.html

Magic Mountain is actually the safest in terms of violent crime, and the only reason they have the higher property crime rate is just from having so many rides that require people to leave articles at the station.
Magic Mountain had a bad gang problem in late 90s/early 2000s but they cleaned that all up. When I last went in 2015 to ride Twisted Colossus ( The best coaster I have ever been on it made me actually cry tears of joy twice after the two times I rode it) I really enjoyed the park and the atmosphere. I got a cup that was like 30 bucks or something where i would get free drink refills all day. I had a blast.

I know Magic Mountain used to have gang issues a long time ago, but now it is a really great and safe park. Plus, I actually like the changes and additions that they have made to the park in recent years. Despite not having a large budget to work with, it feels like they really do what they can to improve the park.

I really enjoyed my last visit. Had a blast except on Green Lantern which hurt me more than any ride ever has before. and Drop of Doom because while the view was top notch, the ride just sucked.
Top 3 rides of the day were:
3. Tatsu
2. X2
1. Twisted Colossus

Exactly how I felt after riding Steel Vengeance at Cedar Point (sort of a larger, longer, more diabolical version of Twisted Colossus). It's the only Rocky Mountain Construction coaster I've ridden, and no other coaster anywhere even comes close. Haven't made it to Magic Mountain yet (moved to SoCal shortly before the pandemic), but will soon -- really looking forward to Twisted Colossus.

Twisted Colossus blew me away .The original is my all time favorite coaster of all time because it was my first. But Twisted Colossus was just amazing and its the best coaster todate I have ever been on. It moved me to actual tears.

Thankfully they closed Green Lantern and it looks like it will get replaced with a RMC Raptor similar to Jersey Devil at Great Adventure, so that will be another great addition to the part. Twisted Colossus and Tatsu are some of my favorites too.

Is it an airtime machine? Steel Vengeance is so smooth it's unreal, and with the amount of time you spend out of your seat, it feels like you're flying.

Twisted Colossus is loaded with airtime, not as much as Steel Vengeance, but it still has a ton of it.

the best part of Twisted Colossus is when they have the 2nd train going and you are both on the track at the same time and at points the other train is right above you or below you and you and someone in that train are looking at each other dead in the eyes because you are so close. What an amazing experience.

There is a ton of air time on Twisted Colossus. at first I didn't get why they have you locked in so tight but oh man once you get that air time you are soo thankful you are locked in the way you are lol

Plenty. Google it.

First one that came up:

Thank you. So we all thinking the same thing right? Drive by after losing all its pass holders to Knott's? Only one suspect, Mickey. Goofy drove.

There's one video of people running through Calico Square, and the band, The Suffragettes, were continuing to play. It was kind of surreal watching it, and expecting the band at some point to stop, realizing that the crowd watching them perform were suddenly gone, and people were running towards the exit. I think they may have even finished their song. Someone in the comments said it was like in the movie Titanic.

I've seen this in POVs. It looks so awesome.
