Alamo at MCO

Anyone have any problems with renting at Alamo? Have they tried the express kiosk check-in thingy? Any help would be great.

We always rent from Alamo. It's so convenient. We had a problem once with a car. We called them and they had us return it to the car care center at MK and gave us a new car. We always check in before we leave for the airport here in Cleveland. When we get to MCO we go right to the cars and select what we want. Once you drive to the exit you just give the person at the booth your credit card and the confirmation that you printed and you are good to go.

We usually use Alamo. This summer we used the Kiosk...it was very easy and convenient. It's somewhat like an ATM machine. Everything is on the touch screen and it walks you through step by step. If you can read it you can do it, it's a piece of cake!

I have used Alamo twice at Orlando and no problems. I check in online before I left and went straight out to the parking deck and picked out my car. I would avoid waiting on line at the counter. Alamo seems to have the longest line compared to the other rental companies.

Alamo is super cheap and super convenient. Not only that, when you go to get your car, you get to pick from about 10-15 different makes/models. You just go to a certain isle, and then the keys are in the doors of all of them. Take your pick........and go!

Alamo always has the longest line when I'm at the airport, so they must be doing something right. I've never used their service at MCO, but have always been satisfied elsewhere.

Definitely go with Alamo. Great service, and the only rental company that has given us free upgrades (mid-size to convertible)

We get a car from Alamo for all of our WDW trips. We use the pre-pay option and we skip going to the check out desk go right to the lot pick out our car, spend 5 minutes at the lot check out shack and then we're on our way. Getting our luggage and getting out to the Alamo lot takes longer than getting the rental car.

Alamo typically has the longest lines because as the official rental car company of WDW, anyone who gets a rental through WDW Reservations gets one at Alamo.

I don't have any complaints about Alamo. I used the self-serve kiosk back in June, and plan on using it again in December. And who can beat $85 for a Compact for a week? (That's *with* taxes and fees, after my wholesale club discount and a coupon available on the Alamo website)
I'd do online check-in, but I think I'm ineligible for that because of the group discount code, so I have to use the kiosk or stand in line.

Just used it last week when we were down there.
They've made it soooooo easy to do this we'll rent a car everytime we're in Orlando - which will be next October (can't wait:sohappy

And with the cheap rates, depending on where you're staying and how long you'll be there, it's only a few more dollars than Mears or other transportation.

Anyway, make sure you do the online service so you can just go to the garage and pick out your car. Then all you do is give the paperwork to the attendant at the gate and you're off. You don't have to wait inline at the airport.
And the return is in the same garage at the airport so it's easy to return your car and walk to your check in at the airport.

Again, very easy process.
