For those who haven't seen the EO tribute yet, the bouncing floor really starts to kick in at this point in the show. It's awesome!

Captain EO is tight right now, thought he is not nor ever will be Tight as toast again, unlike back in the 80s when this was fresh and new.

I would see it for nastalga, but really it is just a placeholder while imagineering works on Honey's real repalcement... at least it gets more guests per viewing then honey did.

I don't know about tight as toast.. but it's been a full crowd each time i've seen the show. And always an enthusiastic audience, cheering and clapping throughout the movie. People get really into it - I think that's what makes it so fun

A new article about Captain EO opening in Tokyo Disneyland, with an update on DL's EO

Disney brought back the movie to Anaheim as a limited engagement, but no end date has been announced. Now, the film is scheduled to stay at least through summer and fall, said John McClintock, a Disneyland Resort spokesman.

“It’s been popular enough that it will continue to run,” McClintock said.

Looks like this film has a lot of captain EO ties. Even the robot has one normal leg and one peg leg like Major Domo.

I love ‘Captain Eo’.

The next time Disneyland runs one of those special ‘Disneyland After Hours’ Events themed to the 80s, they should bring it back for the night.
Or better yet…..just run it for a few months during Disneyland’s upcoming Anniversary!
