What I will say - for what its worth - is thanks to djronn for posting a source. Time will tell if its legitimate (djronn - we get a lot of unsubstantiated rumours on these boards - hope you understand) but it makes a change for someone to actually give a name.

Seems to me the inclusion of the Dragon on the logo may be a good sign. Sometime in 2004 I recall seeing the/a new logo without the dragon.

If not BK then perhaps we'll see Dragon Tower plans being dusted off and becoming reality!

That would be nice to see Beastly Kingdom finally getting on its way to some serious groundbreaking.

Whether the original poster is correct or not the continuation of the Dragon design in AK has got to be a good sign.

One can hope right?

It is a good sign. However, there is the possibility it was left on because they didn't want to throw off the balance of the "animals" on either side of the tree. Take the dragon off and you'd have to put another, can't really do a yeti because you wouldn't be able to tell what it was. Maybe a dino, but that could look strange too.

Actually, it looks like there are 3 animals to the right of the tree of life, and only 2 on the left. Thus, leaving the dragon out would make it more balanced. Of course, I've not seen this new logo except for this picture, but it does look to me like there are 3 animals to the left, but 2 to the right.

There are too many signs, I really think this is going to happen. This is the best thing they could ever give AK. I mean it makes sense, A New Management Team at the Company who is willing to go the distance to say that "we're different now"; A Temporary New Logo which mysteriously STILL has the Dragon which doesn't makes sense if they're not planning to build the new land since the dragon completely throws off the balance of the animals in the logo; The much needed evolution of AK into a full-fledged Full-day theme park; The crowds expected to gather once Everest opens; The Upcoming 10th Anniversary of Animal Kingdom.

Just because its the same number doesn't make it balanced. Because of the size of the animals involved, 3 and 2 is balanced.

Um I don't see Everest anywhere on that logo. ???

EDIT: Sorry about the vagueness. I was referring to a previous post stating that the dragon was to the right of Everest in the logo.

no, it's just AK's temporary logo to keep up with the 50th logos of the other parks, it's probably gonna change into its Expedition Everest logo when it opens next year (the ones in the monorails) then when all the fuss about the 50th and Everest are over, they'll go back to the original.

Don't forget, EE is opening during the HCOE, just not this year. I am not looking too much into the dragon on the logo, it has been on there for a while now.
