Thanks for the pics, Scottie. I was going to ask about that missing crane... lol.

Thanks for the great pics! I was wondering where the second and third pics in the 3rd post were taken? The bridge/walkway at the bottom is really throwing me off. Thanks again!

Dan

Dan, the photos you are asking about look like they were taken from the Flame Tree BBQ seating area. It's pretty well hidden, but gives a wonderful view of Everest from across the water. :)

Great pictures and what amazing artwork. Is that festival of masters a thing they hold every year at this time? (excuse the naivity, only been to disney once - so far - still learning!!!!)

Did you get a chunk of soap from the Mickey? Mine is being used as an air freshener for my car right now

The bridge pictures in question are taken from the seating area of Flame Tree BBQ, and yes, the crane was photoshopped out of many of the pictures. I just did it to see what to expect once it's gone and basically done.

I didn't get a piece of the Mickey soap, I didn't know they were going to be giving any of it away.

And yes MickeyMad, the Festival of the Masters is done every year around this same time. It's really nice to see, and it looks like they expanded quite a bit for this year. I'd love to know who won this year.

I've never heard of Festival of the Masters... though, after seeing the pics, the "Masters" part is very justified, IMO :sohappy:

I guess I just missed you - just got back from WDW about 20 minutes ago, and I was at Festival of the Masters yesterday. When I saw the chalk drawings they weren't as finished as in your pics, but they still looked amazing. Did you make your way to the Lego Store? They had a bunch of diorama's depicting various moments in History - the Killing of Caesar (I thought that one was odd in Disney), the storming of the Bastille, a Dino scene, one that had the offices of Einstein, Newton, Galileo and someone else (forgot). Also, they were building a new Giant Lego Animal, a big green Crocodile, and they had green bricks and instructions on making a big block everywhere so little kids could actually help build it! I made a block or 2 myself . . .:drevil: .

Sooo, yeah. Hope you had fun!

Can someone get pictures of these at the Lego store. I'd LOVE to see them!!! Those chalk drawings are AMAZING!!! Wish I was artistically inclined...:p

Oh ok, that makes sense, thanks for responding. I'll have to go there next time I'm there.
