Airfare Prices?

Hello all. It's been a long time since we've travelled to Orlando mid-summer (we usually go end of August) and we are going July 2nd- 9th (Saturday to Saturday). We are open to date changes up to two days, which would shorten our trip, just to get cheaper airfare. (For example it's way cheaper to fly on Monday the 4th of July which is fine by us if we have to do that)
I keep getting emails from Frontier (and companies alike) for cheap airfare for March- $49 each way.
Currently, I am looking at around $300 per person, round trip for the dates of our July getaway and that's not including baggage!!
Does anyone know if the prices will go down as we get closer to the summer months? I don't know what airfare prices were like last summer, so I am not sure what to expect. Also, gas is cheaper this year too. I don't want to book $300+ pp airfare...

Any and all help/advice is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!!!

Another thing I found out about 2 weeks ago is that not only does Sam's sell WDW gift cards at a discount but they also sell Southwest gift cards at a discount!! In store its the same $150 for $142.98. Online its not quite as good of a deal at $200 for $192.98.

Friends... Thanks again for all of the help with this... We are postponing our trip until next summer because we just found out we are expecting again! Going next summer will put our littlest ones at 3.5 y/o and 9 months old... Can't wait to be able to plan it!!

Yes you do need a membership. But in the last 14 months we have been to Disney 3 times and saved about $600 by using gift cards. So IMO it would be well worth the membership. I think the membership is about $50/year (My DH gets ours for free due to being the purchaser for a local organization we volunteer for). Also, since the gift cards never expire its a great way to save money for the trip and make sure you don't spend it on other things.
