ADR's for new pizza place at EPCOT

I am quickly approaching my 180 day mark and we were thinking of going to the new pizza place at the Italy pavilion in EPCOT. Does anyone know if they are going to require ADR's? If they are, can they be booked online?
Thanks.

From everything we have heard it will be a CS restaurant. With that being said even if it was a TS restaurant they typically would not even take ADR's until the restaurant has been open for 2 or more weeks.

I was confused as well. I saw somebody's write up on the food preview they recently did at the GF for this restaurant and it made it sound like it would be TS. It could still be fun to try it- in case it ends up being a good place for CS food...especially if the pizza is decent.

Thought about starting a new thread but decided to keep this one going.

So this week in Napoli news has been a mix of happy and sad for our family.

The Happy: :sohappy:
Via Napoli grand opens on Aug 5th, with walk up only seating (soft opening) until Septemberish, and we'll be there for the grand opening.

The Sad.. :(
After reviewing the prices (they came out today), I wish it had stayed a CS and not a TS. There's no way in :zipit: I'm paying $20 for a salad, $17 for an individual pizza, or $34 for a 1/2 meter (19.7 inches) for a family pizza.

Anyone else think the new prices seem a little ridiculous, even for Disney Dining?

Do you have a link to the prices? I haven't seen that yet. I was hoping to try it, too. Thanks!

Mods: I'm just trying to share pricing information, hopefully I'm not out of line.

I found it here..

Thanks muchly for the link. Off to get a gander...

EDIT:

I definitely would eat here and it wouldn't be that expensive for my family of 4.

Hubby & I would share an appetizer salad - $10
1/2 meter wood-fired cheese pizza x 2 - $68
Drink x 4 - $12

That's $90. Add gratuity for (hopefully) good service and the total out the door is $110 with leftovers (the boys loooove cold pizza for breakfast). If they will be accepting TiW it'll be just a bit more than the $90. That's less than we get out of a lot of the TS restaurants. The $110 breaks down to $27.50 each. Biergarten's dinner is $34.99 each.

It'd prob'ly be more expensive for folks who would order all 3 courses individually, etc. Sometimes I'm thankful we are cheese pizza people! :)

That would work well for your family then. However we have a party of 6 who all like very different things on their pizza.. :brick:So I'd much rather put that much $$ towards Tutto or Le Cellier instead.

I just can't pay that much for pizza when there is so many other great choices at World Showcase. Which is why I think it'll be a QS and not a TS in less than a year of opening.

Understandable when everyone has really different preferences for pizza. Wow. Now that I think about it that would really stink when ordering out for pizza at home, too. You can't just order a couple for everyone to split. I'm sorry you're disappointed at the new Italian place being table service. I agree that Italy could use a walk up. As long as I can get those wood-fired pizzas I'm in! :slurp:
