ADR stump?

Hey all,

So DH and I have added two days onto our trip in Sept and I had all the ADR's locked up and most are staying the same. However, I have Friday night - the 2nd night we are there. Will spend the a.m. at MK and head back to PORS in late afternoon. We want to head to Downtown Disney via the boat since everyone said it was great. We have the Dining Plan, but we don't need to use a TS this night.

The thing is...nothing at DTD or Boatwrights is knocking our socks off.

What do you recommend at DTD? I should add - no sea food.

Thanks for your thoughts!

For counter service Earl of Sandwich. If you want to do a sit down Raglan Road is a great choice.. we loved it there.

I made an ADR here but my DH rolled his eyes. I'm a big fan of Irish pubs and my DH is Irished out. So not sure if I should make him go there or not.

The best quick service value is Wolfgang Pucks Express. I like Paradiso 37 for a TS, but I haven't eaten there recently. I think we are going to try it on our trip in July. If you are paying cash, Earl of Sandwich is the place to be.

Earl of Sandwich would be my choice. We have yet to be disappointed there. I would however like to try Cooks of Dublin. After reading the Disney Food Blog this place rose to the must do list.

A Nice Surprise.

Well Lulabell, you won't be sorry,we tried it last year for lunch, just as the heavens opened up.We got a table out of the rain.DW had the Fishermans pie, which was like a Seafood Mornay, and I opted for the chicken & field mushroom which was superb also.:slurp:

Thanks for the tip! Sounds Delish! We were scheduled to go to Earls in August, I think we might just switch it up!

Hey,don't miss Earls either,it's awesome but I think after a meal at Cookes, your full up,as far as Earls go,I like it for a brunch sort of,rather than a dinner type meal,if you get my drift.:slurp:

We love to go to Cooke's of Dublin, we actually prefer it to Raglan Road. Wonderful meal and they have other things besides fish for your DH. Then you can hop on over to the Ghiradelli store for dessert.:)

For a TS there are a few that I would recommend:
House of Blues
Bongos
T-Rex
Planet Hollywood (we really weren't too impressed, but it may have just been an off night or two, or three LOL
Ragland Road (which we were skepitcal a few years ago but were pleasantly surprised and now a must do every trip)

For CS there are also a few options
Wolfgang Puck Express (you really can't go wrong here)
Earl of Sandwich
Bongos walk up window (surprisingly, there are several really good options here.

Wolfgang Puck Express is our favorite QS at DTD. I wouldn't waste a TS at Raglan Road. We made that mistake last year and the food was not good. Good luck on your decision.

Thanks for the tip! I just looked at the WP Express Marketplace menu and I think we are going to hit that instead. I have also been recommended Earl of Sandwich. Thanks for the help here!
