For Tim this is part of his “act”. By playing dumb and uninformed (or choosing to stay relatively uninformed) he doesn’t risk sounding like a know-it-all and/or spreading false information. That is why many people who otherwise hate Vloggers find Tim likable.

Indeed, Tim purposely stays away from attempting to learn about rumors or insider info, and in turn, doesn't present any.

Tho, that doesn't stop him from getting officially announced information wrong at times.

The best part of Tim's vlog... it's edited. Cuts out the lengthy walk and blather with nothing really happening. Also, (almost) no live feeds where he's talking to viewers.

Still, I'll put him and other vloggers on fast forward, and just jump ahead. I'm mostly looking at what's in the parks rather than Tim's commentary, and Tim shows what's happening pretty well.

If Epic Universe gets shelved, it’s not impossible that Uni would feel comfortable building a new attraction in its place. Some of those plans could make their way into the existing parks. Frankly, USF could desperately use some new rides that aren’t a part of the Harry Potter universe. Uni is sending out surveys looking for feedback relating to family-friendly attractions (something they’re also acknowledging that they’re lacking in.) IMHO, the way they were asking certain questions, it honestly sounds like they’re looking for an expansion plot. What was one of the attractions on that list for potentially getting the axe? Fast and Furious.

It’s not good in Hollywood either, but at least you get a lot of the Rock in the preshow to make it more entertaining. In any case, calling a slow-moving bus attraction “Fast and Furious” was their first mistake. Relying on screens was their next one. It’s too bad that Beetlejuice got kicked to the curb for this. So much attraction real estate used for such a disappointing experience. At least Universal seems to have learned from this. Hagrid’s was made in direct opposition to the criticisms aimed at F&F.

Retheme it to...

John Carpenter's The Fog.

Instead of using the 360 room for simulating speed, use it as a forest background and fill the room with a thick fog, use sound and lighting effects and 2 guys in costumes to make it scary. Sort of like ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter on steroids.
