I'd say it's salty, but overall it's just better. I can't really put my finger on it. Maybe it's just higher quality or something. I recommend grabbing some on your next trip though.
I've never tried salty so I won't be able to compare it to others but I will try it in Sept, there always seems to be something tastier to try than popcorn! I shall make the effort!

Well I never knew about the magic cookie bar. Since we will be staying at POR (who am I kidding, we always go there) I will be getting one or two  and that also goes for the red velvet cupcake. Red velvet is one of my favorites. I have made a promise to myself that I will start dieting AFTER this vacation :p

Forgot to add that I would share with my kids. I have a hard time telling them no!

Hatter, so what did you do to the recipe to make it closer to what you had at WDW?
Well this time after mixing the crackers & melted margarine in a bowl then into the baking tray.i pressed down hard to form a thicker, more solid base, then my first layer was coconut which again I pressed firmly, followed by chopped almonds, pressed down again firmly, then butterscotch chips, ( never had them the last time ) then dark & white chocolate chips, and finally little chocolate balls. Then slowly drizzled the sweet carnation milk all over, and cooked at a lower heat ( 140% ) for 30 mins.;)

I wondered about those butterscotch chips. I would say most of the time I've seen/had them, there were no butterscotch chips on them but it does make a big difference. Never heard of using almonds but that sounds wonderful. I've just always used walnuts. Glad you found your own Magical version!

I discovered that I LOVE dole whip on my last trip. I can guarantee I will never again go to Disney without getting dole whip

Dole whip float with vanilla instead of the pineapple whip is my favorite however I always have to share as I can't eat the entire thing by myself! Also love the funnel cake at Sleepy Hallow with strawberries on it, just yummy! Don't like the funnel cakes at American pavillion in Epcot at all , maybe just too picky?
