Adam the woo is back!

It's quite funny how some folks on this thread are getting all worked up over someone else's actions. All I can say is that Adam the Wooooo (Ric Flair style) is an entertainer and does what's best to stay relevant for his followers while gaining more followers in the process. Also YouTube is a source of income for him so by providing footage of him scoping out the remains of River Country or the old Nick building, what he's really doing is catering to the crowd that's craving nostalgia. I personally think it's cool and I've actually forwarded some of those trespassing videos to friends who thanked me big time for "taking them back".

Regarding the real reason as to why Adam was banned from Universal Orlando, that's simple. Adam is just a kid that has yet to realize that he's actually a grown @$$ man.

And he hasn't trespassed anywhere in years.
You are trying to decriminalize the crime he committed. If a murderer hasn't killed anyone in years should we forgive his crimes? I realize that is a brash comparison but I think you get the point.
No, we have a problem with you guys saying he's a bad person.
I've stated several pages back that you can't change someone's personal opinion of him. He is in charge of his own reputation, no one else.

He was desperate for attention and fame which drove him to commit a crime. We shouldn't be honoring him, no matter how much people want to see stuff. There were millions of other things he could've been filming. So he got exactly what he deserved: banned from the park and a reputation among many people for being a loud-mouthed rule-breaking redneck. He chose to portray that image himself.

I think that the issue he is that he didn't commit a "crime" but instead he "broke the rules". A murderer is someone who committed a crime. Adam simply broke the rules because nothing happened, no one was hurt, nothing was stolen, nothing was destroyed. Was what he did morally wrong? Yes. Does that make him a bad person? No. Universal had every "right" to ban him, but I don't think they should've after all this time. But who am I to judge, it was their decision. Is he a little bit childish sometimes? I guess, but it is shortsighted to call him an "evil criminal who commits crimes to this date". People can change, and he did.

Trespassing is a CRIME. Again, you are trying to sugar coat what he did to make it sound petty but he purposely entered private property. It doesn't matter if you don't take anything, don't get hurt or don't destroy anything. He still entered a private property were "No Trespassing" and "Private Property" signs were posted.

He trespassed in Disney, and he was punished. He's trespassed Universal and been punished. The fact that he trespassed (which yes, is a crime), and knowingly did so, is an open and shut case.

An argument before was that he does this for attention. Well...isn't that the whole point of YouTube...to do things for attention? There are plenty of channels that do questionable, sometimes law-breaking actions, for views. Doesn't make it right, and doesn't mean he's above the law...but as a viewer, if someone has followed him for a long time and enjoys his content, they might have a more promising perspective that he has grown from his early days. You might not agree with that, but like you just said...you can't change someone's personal opinion of him. So I'm at a loss as to why you're continuing to argue with his fans who clearly like his content and don't see him as you do.

Also, you do realize that you're creating a false equivalency between someone committing a murder...and a Disney fan trespassing in an abandoned River Country, right? Or if we are going to assess his recent "crimes" -- committing murder = pulling back a curtain after people leave. There are levels of offense to a crime and those are basically on polar opposite ends of the severity spectrum.

Spacemt354 is completely right! We should not be trying to change each others opinions, and that goes for me too. I'm sorry for some of the dumb things that I said, this whole thing started when I just said I disagreed with Universal's actions, but they had every right to do what they did. None of us really have the right to say what kind of person Adam is, because none of us know him personally.

@Tiki Queen of Outer Space look, if I insulted you, I'm actually sorry. You are not a troll, nor a bad person, nor is anyone on here. Your harsh words bothered me, and if that was your intent, well that's okay. I don't want to argue anymore, there is no reason to.

If you read that post of mine I stated in there that it was a harsh comparison but I used it to get a point across. So harping on my words is pointless now.

But one person here who's constantly defending his doesn't even really watch his videos or knows anything about him. So isn't that a pointless argument as well? How can you defend someone when you don't know much about them? I've seen many, many videos of his and at least know my side of this discussion. Also, that person came in here to start attacking our posts first. So I think you need to turn your attention on them.

Yes, you have called us "horrible people." But you don't know him either. But his personality, attitude and agenda comes across quite clearly in his videos. Don't blame us for his actions in those videos. HE is the one that put them on the internet for everyone to view. The knowledge and opinion that I have of him was placed there by himself. So don't get upset at me if I don't agree with you. This is a forum after all.

But if you treat your opinion as fact, then I have a problem. I didn't call you guys "horrible people", I said you were no better than him, and if I think highly of him, then that's not an insult towards you :). I find it very hard to believe that you've formed this opinion of Adam through his vlogs over the last couple of years, all I've seen is a kind hearted man! But that's your opinion, and you're perfectly entitled to it.

Now who's shoveling blame, eh?
Don't try and shove blame on others.
You made a nonsensical comparison, so your point fell flat. Doesn't matter whether you say it's "harsh" -- the word you're looking for is "wrong."

It's nice that you know your side of the discussion but clearly some agree and some don't. Nobody ever attacked you though. And my attention is on the people who continue to try and prove to his fans that he isn't as good as they believe he is. Why do you care what they think?

I don't care what they think. ONCE AGAIN I will explain: Someone posted in another thread about Adam's ban. They posted a link to this thread where the discussion was already happening and then closed that thread. But I stated my opinion originally then they came in to attack any posts with opinions other than theirs. So why aren't you asking THEM what do that care what I think?

Stop playing the victim card. You're not being attacked, you're being disagreed with. And you're literally doing the exact same thing that you're accusing others of doing...disagreeing with any opinion other than yours.

I don't know why "they" care what you think. That being said, I've advised one to just stop responding to you because this discussion is going nowhere

I don't care what you think. What I do care is that you and others are spreading hate to someone who I believe doesn't deserve it. It's okay that you have a negative opinion towards him. But, if you don't have something nice to say, don't say it at all.
