I was hoping we would hear the song Gazelle sings in Zootopia. Like the time Let It Go was first heard at World Of Color Christmas Edition which premiered weeks before Frozen debuted. At the time we had no idea how much of an impact the song had. At least we get to hear the voice of Judy Hopp's memories of Walt Disney World.

I'm watching on DVR, so I'm behind. But, I'm annoyed that all the performers so far have had dark sunglasses or in Seal's case, mirrored sunglasses. They should be following the Disney look and the audience should be able to see their eyes.

I enjoyed the tiny parade at the beginning, but really wish they'd bring back the director/format from the '90s.

I honestly didn't think this was any better than last year. Robin Roberts is not a good host, IMO, and they keep pairing her with dull former football players. At least find one with charisma next time.

As someone who generally sticks up for Disney on these boards, they are really irritating me with these awful Christmas specials. The standard for these things should be the 2013 version with Neil Patrick Harris (and Nick Cannon, but NPH was the real star). We recently watched that one again, and it's a much better production, and it feels so much more fun. We have probably watched the opening number from that parade 5-10 times recently on YouTube.

Also, maybe I'm heartless, but I just don't care about most of these family stories they show us. With the exception of th military dad with the daughter who had leukemia, none of the stories this year were at all interesting to me. And how about that "surprise" proposal? Lame.

Or Epcot or DHS or AK....Not even a sight of the Icons...
The beginning intro was actually pretty good. It was no NPH opening, but it had a big helping of a Pixie dust to it.

I used to LOVE the little snippets they'd do with people riding attractions, or WDI people talking about new/under construction attractions/resorts. I wonder why they stopped all that? All the performances were on the same stage, too. I wonder if the budget for this production was chopped way back and they could really only do filming at the MK?

I am kinda surprised they barely mentioned the Frozen attraction or anything new at Disney Springs, didn't mention the newly opened Poly DVC, MK hub, or Skipper Canteen, and also barely touched on the new Star Wars stuff. They mentioned the new night attractions at DAK, but again, for only like two seconds. No construction progress updates, concept art, or anything.

Maybe they really don't need to encourage people to visit the resort anymore?

While the finale today was sweet, it doesn't hold a candle to the time a choir sang Christmas songs in front of the Cinderella Castle and suddenly tons of Disney characters joined in. Another finale years ago showed people from every Disney resort such as Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disney Resort, Disneyland, and even Hong Kong Disneyland singing We Wish You A Merry Christmas in there default languages possible from the same year the characters were at the castle.

I'm guessing that the shades were for their nerves. I'm more unimpressed with the blonde lady's lip synced performance as well as Grande's. Snooze fest.

Neal Patrick Harris hosting and the opening number they did that year was better I agree. Wish they would go back to using him. So thankful they don't have Nick Cannon and Moriah ruining it like they used to

If you search it on YouTube - no one lip synced. Just ultra mixed afterwards for some.

What am I looking for? Grande and the blonde girl looked like they were lip syncing to a back track. That Charlie guy and Seal sounded good. I didn't pay much attention to Derulo, to be honest.

If Ariana is such a "Disney" fan why in the world would she be hanging out with people who grabbed Mickey's crotch and then flipped off the camera? Yes, I'm sure TDO you don't want that story out from last year. It did happen.

And then they whole thing with the Biebs calling dancer an inflammatory word and hitting someone. He's not been back. Why does Ariana get a pass?

Same reason Demi Lovato was involved with Disney stuff after her serious meltdown (that involved a physical assault on one of her dancers).
