AAA and Disney ME

I attempted to do a search on this one...:brick:

I am traveling to Disney in March. I got a great deal on Southwest so I booked the air through them and everything else I am doing a la carte. I have always booked through Disney.com but this time I chose to go through AAA since I have a membership. Does anyone know how this works? Excuse my ignorance but does AAA contact Disney and then Disney sends out the ME tags? I am just nervous because I originally booked for 2 adults but then changed my reservation to 4 adults about a week later. I am worried that I am not going to get the right amount of ME tags and/or not get them at all.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

We also booked through AAA for a trip in May...I think it's just what you said below, that AAA contacts Disney, but I think that Disney sends the package with the ME tags to AAA, and then AAA would send them to you. I am pretty sure that's how it works but we haven't talked to AAA in awhile so I could be wrong. If you're worried about your changes showing up I would call AAA and ask them to send you an updated invoice for your trip to make sure that the changes you want are there...we did that when we re-booked our trip for the B4G3 deal to make sure that the price had adjusted correctly. Good luck!

When I book through Disney's Reservation line I mention I have a AAA card and get my "room only" discount and deal with the other stuff through the reservation line.

If you book a room only AAA discount directly by calling Disney, then it's your booking and you control all aspects including DME shipped directly to you.

If you go to a AAA agent, it ends up becoming a AAA booking, giving control to AAA and all materials are sent to AAA.

Exactly so. Whomever you book through to start is your contact for the entire trip. BTW Either you, as the member, or Kingdom Konsultants on your behalf as the member can book room only reservations with a AAA discount. Hope this helps! Belle
