How is your little one tonight?

Out like a light... tramatic day - she now has 2 teeth, still loves to chew on her toes - and now leaves bite marks on her big toe... she then howls in pain, get's ticked, bites them again, and the process goes on... she wore herself out today... ;)

to be honest it was quite an entertaining day... there's nothing like watching your kids discover things, it's gratifying and sometimes really funny... at the end of the day i am so thankful I have her! She really brings everything into perspective... :)

They grow up fast. One day they are learning to walk, and the next they are learning to drive. The time in between is shorter than you can ever imagine. :)

wow... I can't even imagine - I'm already shocked that she's already 6 months... every time I turn around she's doing something new and amazing... not to mention she's a little bigger each morning... :)

Learning to drive =
We may be going for the driving test on Friday. She took drivers ed over the summer and has had a permit for close to 9 months. She's been eligible for the unrestricted license since late November, but we can't put it off forever.

Can we? :lookaroun

No we can't. :(

Katie has had her permit since her 16th birthday and she will be 18 in June...
Driving test was pushed back to March 13th...she passed driver's ed and is shooting for that unrestricted license.

HUGGLES

we can worry together.

see, I'm more worried about the little old ladies going 90 in a neighborhood than I am kids that just got their unrestricted license and are terrified that not coming to a complete stop at the stop sign out in the middle of the country might just get their license taken away... ;)

You haven't ridden with my daughter.

Me: Why did you almost turn in front of that oncoming truck?

Her: Because I thought maybe it was a 4 way stop?

Me: YOU didn't stop.

She's getting better, but don't just assume that 16 year old with the shiny new license is a better driver than the 90 year old.

This is true, as soon as I finished typing that my 17 year old brother popped into my head, he has a new jeep and has already been pulled over 2x's... amazingly enough he got out of both tickets (strict cops around here, loose judges ;)) however I think you are very right...

I'm not sure I'm going anywhere tomorrow... :lookaroun :D
