What's interesting is go to http://maps.live.com

zoom in, click Bird's eye, then rotate the view. You will see that at others times this site is a lake.

Upon examination, it looks like a service area, where trucks would drop food or such off.

The very bottom of the picture is a fence with gates large enough for a vehicle to pass through. (not that they normally would though)

The middle of each area is dirt.
