I can't believe we stayed off site!
We went on September 5-9, but we drove because we had to mourn the loss of my father-in-law and just couldn't afford to fly or stay on site. Well, let me tell you...
No crowds!
Off site was very nice ( Embassy Suites LBV) in the area that has shops and restaurants about a mile from DTD ( an atrium style hotel). The free made to order omelet breakfast and evening snacks are a nice touch.
We bought our tickets there for MK and EPCOT only.
It was nice and peaceful, and only waited 20 minutes for Soarin, TT... BTMRR twice in a row w/o getting off! Splash with absolutely no lines!
We did have very bad storms both days, but we managed.
We ate at Olive Garden, Black Angus, Johnnies ( expensive but yummy), and T-Rex was a 5 minute walk up!
We also ate at Restaurant Marrakesh ( yummy) with no wait! We ate lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern, and it was delicious! My DH had the salmon salad, and I had the salad with craisins. So good!
I would go every time that week if I could!
