Exactly!

Or even just group projects like 1966...organized imagineering...any platform for people to be creative with others. That's why I hope that next year we can continue the progress.

Even if it's just people chatting in the discussion threads, it doesn't matter...people are now aware of it! And now there's a better percentage chance of them being active in the future.

Lol as you can tell I'm very passionate about this... @MonorailRed knows too well :p:hilarious:

I say Red because...it's a running joke between us now...but I asked Red to please contact some older members from the forum for the House Cup to get them aware. Seeing as Red has been around since 2013, it would make more sense for her to ask.

Let's just say my Italian/Irish combination of impatience asked her like 10x before she did it:hilarious::hilarious:

That's actually an interesting idea...instead of making all imagineering topics be big projects, we could just have "____ Discussion Thread". Like a place to casually chat about your ideas for a certain thing without it having to be any real work. Like it could be "DHS Park Overhaul Discussion Thread" where you can share imagineer-ey (copyright @tcool123) thoughts on it that would be classified as off-topic armchair imagineering tangents in News and Rumors. Like "it would be cool if TSL had ____", can be as simple as that. Could do more detailed work if you want, though not really the main point of it.

That's something that will get a lot more people active in the community! And it would just be simply fun.

Also...I've thought this for a while now...but instead of changing discussion threads every comp I think we should just make one mega discussion like the Chit Chat Chit Chat thread :p :joyfull:

I believe we suggested this when we had the conversationalists, and were working out the kinks for the scheduled competitions. I believe it was LG that shot it down as it could become a bit to cluttered.

Yes!! Sometimes people are intimidated or don't have the time for competitions. However they are still full of ideas, and just off-topic, general topic discussion threads boosts activity and interest!

And I'm all for the chit chat chit chat thread imagineer style! @MonorailRed actually told me the exact same thing haha! The Tip for Today thread was our attempt at starting that actually!:bookworm::D

I'm all for it!

Activity is the goal! The only thing I would say is cluttering would be when we have announcement threads, signup threads, competition threads as 3 different threads....the forum is now designed where you simply change the heading so all 3 of those can be in one thread - just change the name!
