A Twist In Time : The Discussion Thread

Neither have I

We've been to Columbia Harbor House (sit on the 2nd floor you get really good views of Frontierland and Fantasyland!) And Pecos. And Aloha Isle.

Then when I was younger we used to go to Tony's. Other than that...not much haha Still need to try a turkey leg:eek:
Oh yes Tony's too! I forgot about Tony's! I went once a long time ago, and went back for the second time recently, and I didn't remember them being that great but I was pleasantly surprised! I like them!

Our MK meals tended to be pretty similar every time. Our traditional sit down place there is the Plaza, where I always get a cheesesteak and vanilla milkshake. And we always end up eating at Cosmic Rays for lunch :p Though last time I was there on the 45th we ate at Pecos for lunch, which is significantly better than Rays. It has a lot better of a menu with more interesting options and burgers, Rays is a lot more basic.

Turkey legs seem to be disappearing :( I think the only places left with them are a cart in Epcot outside Test Track and at the Sunset Ranch marketplace area.

I like the size of Pecos - it's also really well themed for a quick service.

I wish the seasonal stuff in Adventureland was open more often...I've always wanted to try the Tortuga restaurant.

Where tcool has eaten at Magic Kingdom
  • Casey's Jr
  • Crystal Palace (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner!) because it's a family tradition to eat with Pooh
  • Plaza Ice Cream Parlor
  • Aloha Isle
  • Sunshine Tree Terrace
  • Westward Ho! :hungover:
  • Pecos Bill
  • The Turkey Leg Cart :hungover:
  • Colombia Harbor House
  • Sleepy Hollow
  • Pinocchio's
  • Friar's Nook
  • Gaston's Tavern
  • Be Our Guest
  • Chesire Cafe
  • Cosmic Ray's
  • Cool Ship
  • Auntie Gravity's
Next trip I'm hoping to try either Tony's of the Skipper Canteen as we never like to eat at the same place in a row besides Crystal Palace and Boma.

What wasn't cool is when I knocked down my dad's food
That's like me and Epcot, we've eaten everywhere there!

This conversation is making me realize how much I want DHS and DAK to get more food options:rolleyes::p:D

At DHS, PizzaRizzo is looking amazing on the outside, here's hoping the pizza is a lot better than before...

Same with the Tomorrowland Terrace... I don't believe the food is anything special, but it seems like a nice place to eat with a cool location.

Also...one thing all of the parks desperately need...More breakfast options!!! Seriously, besides sit down character breakfast, it seems like there's no where to get any non-pastry breakfast (except Starbucks I guess :p)

Sunshine Seasons at Epcot doesn't serve breakfast anymore which sucks, they had a nice post-Soarin pre-Living With The Land breakfast platter :D

Location is also a big thing...it could be the same food, but I'd rather eat it with a view than in a cramped area.

And yes! Going in for extra morning hours it could be nice just to sit down after the 8-9 am rides and have something to eat!

But actually...haha

I mean DHS has food options...they just, aren't the best, imo.
Tell me about it, it's either table service or bust for me and my family if we decide to eat in that park. Last trip we did Melrose Fantasmic Package, which was good I got a Fresh Mozzarella App, a Chicken Parm, and three deserts that I hated. My mom got Calamari App, a seafood pasta dish, and the same three deserts. We had a server who was way too happy :cyclops: like scary happy. We were sitting next to a table of 12, and two girls disneybounding as R2 and C3. We saw them everywhere, they were behind us in Great Movie Ride, ahead of us Toy Story, they were the secrect spies in Star Tours, they saw the same showing of Beauty and the Beast, and sat next to us in Fantasmic!.

We also ate at Backlot Expres, I had Chicken & Darth Vader Waffles which I split with my mom. We also split a blue milk desert.
