I don't see how that could be unpopular or shocking. E.P.C.O.T Center had a good concept; a sort of World's Fair that celebrates science and human culture, but due to problems such as Disney's financial problems and low attendance, it never went anywhere until now.
And my shocking unpopular opinion? The original EPCOT Center was just OK. Based on concept art, WestCOT would've improved upon it.
Question of the Day - Monday September 4th (Happy Labor Day!)
What's one unpopular Disney opinion that you have?
I will be honest I don't enjoy the new (now 10 years old -- time flies) Spaceship Earth as much as past versions. I much preferred the 1994 version with Jeremy Irons as the narrator. The score was beautiful (thank you @nelsonj3 )I'm not a huge fan of SSE.
I love Epcot, love the ball, and we always ride it, but it's just kind of ok.
Guardians could have been a good fit for Epcot
Ok let me explain myself. The Guardians going after a scientifically plausible, well explained energy source with sci-fi trappings could work. I genuinely think IP can have a place in Epcot. Remy can teach people about France's cuisine, Snow White can show off the incredibly rich storytelling in German Folklore, The Guardians can show off what energy can do, Inside Out can show the workings of the human body, Nemo can teach about the ocean. Bottom line, IPCOT is not a dirty word.Completely agree - I mean Star Lord went to Epcot!
It is if the way Disney uses the IP in Epcot is done wrong or isn't done at all like with FEA.Bottom line, IPCOT is not a dirty word.
I guess it's time for my unpopular opinions.
My favorite park is Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Epcot is the worst of the four, and somewhat boring.
I like Home on the Range.
I dislike Lion King.
A man after my own heart. Such amazing promise in the first number and completely falls apart the second Simba opens his mouth.I dislike Lion King.
Not doing this in defense for TLK but,A man after my own heart. Such amazing promise in the first number and completely falls apart the second Simba opens his mouth.
I have to share some dark news with all of you...
I like Taylor's new song Look What You Made Me Do. I just can't look away nor stop hearing. It's kinda hypnotizing.

Question of the Day - Tuesday September 5th
What are your top 3 favorite Pixar films?
Cars, Cars 2, Cars 3.
I just realised all of my choices are newer Pixar movies... It was so hard to choose! Toy Story, Monsters Inc., Incredibles, etc. were all so great too ahhhhI would say Inside Out (Still cry but not from Bing Bong's death but when she comes home after running away ), Toy Story 3 (Still cry when watching it), Cars 3 (Went in expecting to be disappointed after Cars 2 and was extremely surprised)
Very trueI would say Inside Out (Still cry but not from Bing Bong's death but when she comes home after running away ), Toy Story 3 (Still cry when watching it), Cars 3 (Went in expecting to be disappointed after Cars 2 and was extremely surprised)
