A Spirited 15 Rounds ...

Most of us have gotten the mail/ newspaper like this. But over the past few years dress at WDW seems to have become a competition with the 'people of wal mart' web site for worst dressed ever award

HAHAHAHA...I agree 100%. (Especially concerning clothing that exposes way more than anyone else wants to see. I have yet to have to answer the question..."Mom, why is that lady's butt hanging out?", but I dread the day when the question is asked.

Nothing to do with Jingoism, Millennials are freaking useless in the labor force because the majority of them have been coddled and they crumble under pressure because they have never developed mental toughness,

As you will find out when you have to manage them and i'm talking college graduates here.

Just listen to them whine when you call a meeting and announce that until further notice work week is now 7 days because of a problem somewhere. X'ers and Y's will groan and 'embrace the suck' but Millennials will whine about their social life being disrupted for days
I have had multiple 22 yr old college grads who believed their recruiter that if they enlist they will get picked to go to officer candidate school in their first year. Then ask why they have to take out the trash, swab the decks etc and then say but I have a degree. And are generally useless and should be kicked out for being unfit for duty. It's a very common occurrence, So I have to agree with you whole heartedly

Let me get this straight- a recruiter lies to, or at the very least misleads someone in order to enlist them when they might not otherwise do so, creating a false expectation within the enlistee of what their time in the service will be like, and the enlistee is somehow the bad guy here? That's rich.

I honestly feel sorry for you, everything in your life is just one negative thing after another. Not to mention everything in your post is just flat out false. Yea people should just do nothing but work for 7 days a week for months straight and not say a word, I mean who needs to see family or friends or actually have a life outside of work those poor fools with their priorities all mixed up

"Stupid ungrateful millennials won't work 80 hours a week for scrip in the boot licking factory. The nerve of them, wanting access to respectable income and dignity and free time to spend with loved ones. If I never had the backbone to ask for that how dare they!"

Yes
And since you haven't seen his name here in quite a while, Lou Mongello is still alive and on an AbD tour of China, along with Beci (the head of his affiliated travel agency).

Are you insinuating something here between Lou and Beci? I have been binging on the WDW Radio archives (like the lifestyler that I am) and would be disappointed if this is what you were getting at (and it was accurate).

Ah, the same old "omg all millenials suck guys!!!" drivel from the same bitter old people; all with zero factual evidence. But our resident mentally ill LIAR could care less about facts.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it was a millennial who brought up millennials...no one else even hinted at them prior to that.

I am of the generation that not every one got a trophy, we kept score and there were winners and losers, we did not have play dates we made up our own teams from kids in the neighborhood and played sandlot baseball, and tackle football without gear, we rode our bikes without all the safety gear and no one ever died (skinned knees yes). We were taught to be independent and take responsibility for when we srewed up. We had BB guns only after learning gun safety. I can still hear my father say so you want to drive --buy your own car and pay the insuranc (which I did) My own sons were raised as I was. I guess in todays society the uncoddled are considered dinosaurs.

Yeah no hints being dropped here.

Yea, I do believe if you go back a few pages you'll find that YOU were one of the perpetrators. But I'm sure you'll stupidly try and claim otherwise, your kind always does.

Are you sure I used the word millennials? Because I'm pretty sure I didn't. I recall talking about whiny, spoiled, pretentious brats, but there's a difference there, to be sure.

That's why you get it in writing.

I'll be honest...I really, REALLY wish they could have stopped all the infighting going on in game development...Disney Infinity was pretty great and had some amazing potential.
Disney getting out of video games themselves and now simply licensing out their IP was a pretty stupid move especially now that Star Wars is stuck with EA, one of the worst publishers out there for their practices. There's a reason they were voted worst company in America multiple times. I remember how cool Star Wars 1313 looked which was then canceled because Disney shut down LucasArts.

The biggest loss for me though was Epic Mickey. Talk about an amazing concept if only they had the right talent behind it. Now it'll likely never see the light of day again with a well deserved reboot.

One quick comment on today's second piece in the LAT on DLR and the political gamesmanship in Anaheim: the story wasn't overly notable for what was in there (not that it wasn't interesting), but rather for what wasn't mentioned at all.

And before you assume you know where I am going with this, ask yourself why that may be and what each party in this drama is looking for ... right now.
