That's exactly what they've been doing. Was F&F necessary? Was Fallon necessary? I'd say no on both. F&F feels like it's coming a couple of years too late but I know it's a massively popular franchise. It's just Kong without the animatronic. I like Kong more than some but F&F doesn't at all excite me.

I'd also rather have Terminator over Bourne. LOL

I get why they likely want Nintendo in a third park but I think Studios could have benefited massively from it. I don't keep up with Uni rumors. What's the spec for Kidzone? Pokemon? Why not Dreamworks properties?

It’s likely not long for this world. If it does stick around, that building could use a lot more than new projectors. 20 years of water takes a toll.

Jurassic Park desperately needs a third offering. I was there in November, and it was too cold to ride the River Adventure, and we’re all adults so we couldn’t ride the Pteradactyls. Plus, the Raptor Encounter was on a 15 minute or so break. I don’t think a coaster is needed, but if they could fit a dark ride in there, that would be preferred

JW basically handed them what is perhaps the coolest ride concept they could ever get in the gyrosphere attraction - it just screams out to be used. I mean, dinosaurs trying to eat you as you fly around in one - never was a more sure fire hit than that.

Pity, that. The Berk/ how to train your dragon Vikings concept has a lot of potential, and other parks in the world have done some really neat things with it. I do understand not wanting to bring it to Islands in particular, since you would have significant subject matter and overall concept overlap with the various Potter offerings.

Speaking of Poseidon’s Fury, does anyone know if Universal ever publicly used the Journey to Atlantis name before SeaWorld opened their own attraction with that name?

Not in my mind; I'm still not that excited about the concept of Nintendo-based theme park attractions, if only because each iteration of Nintendo's worlds is so vastly different from the one that came before it. This is excellent for video gamers, but not so great for the world of steel and concrete.
