A Spirited 15 Rounds ...

I gathered that much, but I was just wondering if people knew what actually happened to him as I though the post hinted.
Apologies. I don't know anything of the sort. I was only postulating as to how other people who seem to be in the know gathered their information.

I've got no real inclination to ascertain '74's whereabouts. I'm sure he has surrogates providing updates and feedback as needed and will reappear when able and for effect.

Just to be clear - I have no information about anything "happening" to him, nor do I know him, personally. However, I do know who he is, and how he relates to the bigger picture - because of that, and stuff going on with the company, it's pretty clear why he isn't out doing his usual trashing of Disney/Iger right now (and I am sure it's irritating him as much as it is his fans).

I do apologize for the vagueness, which I know is supremely annoying, but I cannot stand those posts when some rando who doesn't like the current discussion saunters in and tries to blame members of this site and their posts for why he isn't currently active, and it got the better of me.

Actually, I'd be quite proud to know I had a hand in driving him out. Dealing with that toxicity for insider scoop (which isn't always right, and I'm looking at you SWL in 2021 and Haunted Mansion Restaurant) is a Faustian bargain. Not worth it. IMO.

Bye, Felicia. Can't wait to read your own blog you didn't start last year.

On another topic...after everyone was going on about how well Black Panther did (and it did do exceptionally well, no doubt) it's already been creamed by Infinity War - "Avengers Infinity War Outpaces Last Seven Marvel Movies Combined In Fandango Presales".

I guess that fatigue some seem to think is coming has yet to set in.

They have done the build so insanely well and the trailers are so epic, I don't see the fatigue setting in until the next Avengers movie goes. Everything built to these next movies, and they look so incredible, people (like me) who have not seen any of the others are actually going back and watching them to be prepared for this one. The question will be when the dust settles here, is it possible that fatigue sets in. Personally I highly doubt it unless they start getting super lazy with their characters. With the incredible build and presales,, I wonder how safe Star Wars Force Awakens is at this point.

So, how does the NHL work? I wouldn't think NBC would let them get this. Wonder how many people will be interested in this. I personally have no desire to pay for it, but I wonder if there are some that will.
You get a game, of their choosing, a day plus some full game replays. However, you can’t watch games from your local teams like, in my case, the Flyers.

The goal seems to be catch folks who want a specific niche ESPN+ covers with the hope lots of folks fit into that group across sports and leagues. Eventually, you could buy the whole ESPN suite via this service as a Netflix for sports. What interests me about this is the belief a similar model would work for Disney’s planned service. I’m of the view they should go full on cannibalization and let people buy the Disney Channel suite plus exclusive offerings of the service like the pay tv rights to recent movies and niches like DisneyNature or Vault Disney/D23.

Seems like they found a way to divorce ESPN3 from needing a cable subscription. It will be a boon for mid-major college basketball.

Interesting that it appears it is pulling in MLB.tv and MLS. If that is included in your $5 a month, that is a bargain. MLB.tv alone is over $100 for the season.

This has potential if they are a portal to these other services and don't require an additional fee to view them.

For the record, what appeared to be a bunch of white people (not all) arguing on how Black Panther would be racist at Animal Kingdom put me over the edge.

I get how they are setting it up, I'm more interested in how they are able to use the NHL based on the contract with NBC.

You're cherry picking the few things he got wrong (and even then, he probably wasn't wrong at the time). He was the first one on the internet to reveal the entire attraction lineup for Shanghai DL for example, or that Tower of Terror in DCA was going bye-bye. I think he was even the first to reveal Frozen replacing Maelstrom.
