Why didn't I think of that? Thank you for bringing light into my world.

Went to a local water park today and carefully sealed half my belongings in sandwich bags before we went - when my son saw me sealing away my phone and asked what I was doing I was tempted to say, "making Bob Saget proud".
You make all of us proud, fellow supporter of the sandwich bag!

Personally, I always use sandwich bags, quart size bags, & gallon size bags every time I go on a trip.
I bet my DH wishes he had used one of those on his last trip...when he opened up his luggage after arriving home from the airport, he found a busted bottle of hair gel all in the pocket of his bag!
I have bought all sizes for our next WDW trip.
Couldn't travel without them!

Must be a husband thing. I never think of them as something I pack... but my wife does thankfully. Whenever I need something that could use a sandwich bag she's got one of the appropriate size needed ready to hand to me. As she smiles thinking, where would he be without me?

I guess this thread is a joke, but I use mil-spec versions of ziploc bags during every Disney World trip (aLOKSAK brand, to be precise).

Going to the pool? Cash, card, and ID are in a small aLOKSAK, in my boardshorts pocket.

Just being in WDW during summer days with afternoon downpours? Phone and printed itineraries are in an aLOKSAK, in my pocket.

Going on Splash Mountain or Kali River Rapids? Everything I can fit into a large aLOKSAK is in that bag.

And the one time I forgot to bring my aLOKSAKs and a dry-bag? I substituted with Ziplocs, which performed pretty well.

Dear friend, the sandwich bag. Oh so small, easily shaped, and transparent. How you sit in my pocket for countless hours, ready to yield your unwavering protection if the circumstance should arise.

This reminds when we were there last year, my wife and I saw a squirrel steal a sandwich in a zip lock bag from a stroller. By the time we noticed him he already had the bag open and feasting on his bounty. It was a sight.

We took a few sandwich bags to MVMCP last year to put the cookies and other treats in that the grands didn't eat right away. They enjoyed the treats on the car trip home, two days later.

I always take gallon size bags when we have a TS breakfast booked. We can never eat all of the pastries that they give you at the beginning of the meal. Our first trip our waitress at Tusker House almost forced us to take them with us, but without proper storage they werent great by the end of the day. They would have been a real good midnight snack too.
