A response to my complaint...

For those of you who remember, my trip to Disney a few weeks ago was tarnished a bit by a beyond-rude tour group and several cast members who witnessed the offending behavior and agreed it was terrible, but did nothing (the bruise on my shin is almost gone).

A Disney rep called me today to apologize and say that they had gone over my letter closely and found what I said to be true. The information was passed on to the appropriate departments for CM training. It helped that I had specifics on date and time and attraction, etc. The woman who called said that security should have been notified, CMs should have addressed the problems, and they should have lost their fastpasses on that attraction at least.

Best of all, in exchange for a copy of my admission media, WDW will provide me with replacement admission media for those days. :) Which makes me happy (but means I'll have to go back!).

Just thought you might be interested in the happy ending. :)

Looks like this may be your opportunity to go and get re-accquainted with Mr. Fantasyland... ;)

That's great that you got satisfaction out of this though!! Good for you :)

Heh heh...;)

Yes, I feel much better now. Not just the replacement days, but the fact that someone actually listened to what I had to say! :)

Mightyduck, I'm glad you had a happy ending! I had to go find your post, as I was away during that time. You're right about the tour groups; sometimes there are a lot, other times none. If we see them we go in the other direction, or try to keep ahead of them. (difficult at times)

I agree with Ariel...take advantage of a golden oppotunity...it must be fate!

We usually go end June / start of July and there is LOADS of tour groups. If there is anything that I would say spoils my time in WDW it is the tours groups. I am glad that your problem was given the attention it deserved.

BTW are those tour groups there all year round? I am going @ the end of Sept, do you think I can expect the pleasure of their company?

Interesting site. Looks like a group of four can stay 6 nights at the Grand Floridian for a little over $4000, not including taxes & meals, but including (I think) admission , Cirqe de Soliel,& 250 Disney dollars.(my Portugese is extremely limited, and my Spanish is not much better) I'm unable to read the fine print, but looks like a reasonable price. No wonder there are so many of them!!
