A Little EPCOT Center Nostalgia

May I drift for a moment for some prideful boasting? My DD is not a huge talker, but when we walked into EPCOT, she pointed up and said Spaceship Earth. I almost cried....then we were walking towards the Land, and she started running towards Imagination yelling for Figgy....

I know I am doing something right!!!!!

Why must WDW1974 be brought into every discussion?

They must really love him ... or maybe they want to be him ... or maybe they can't imagine a world without him ... likely a bit of all the above.

Watching stuff like that makes me a bit sad, though. I was at EC Opening Day and watched it getting built before ... that was the place and the era that made me a Disney parks lover for life.

Nothing like EPCOT Center in the 1980s. Just an amazing place on a scale you can't imagine for its time.

Still a great place ... but not like it once was. Not at all.

OMG I didn't know true EPCOT footage until I saw your brilliant work! I downloaded your SSE tribute (amongst others) and burned that bad boy to DVD...gave it a sweet label and everything. :lol: Thank you so much for all of those fantastic videos :sohappy:
