Once upon a time...in a snowy wonderland called "Boston" there lived a wee bit of a Freak...and the snow really got this Freak down...so...the Freak decided he needed to get away from the frigid air of "Boston" and head for warmer climates. Where else should this Freak head??? But, for the happiest place on Earth...Walt Disney World

The blanket shopping.... ha! sooo typical on a cold night! I think the mexican pavillion is the one that makes more money on those chilly nights! :animwink:

Absolutely LOVED it!

(Here's Stitch...he's very evil looking though...but this was at a bad angle...it was taken as we were in line waiting for the bus as we left the Studios)

Tower of Terror is our next destination
Let's hope we don't drop into damnation

I talked my mom onto the Rockin' one
She said if she didn't like it...she'd be without a son :)

Dumbo's ears were still upon my head.
Too bad I left the magic feather...under my bed :(

The Great Movie Ride was just up the street,
Garland and twinkling lights didn't miss a beat.

To the 50's Prime Time Cafe we would eat.
My mom and aunt decided to get the loaf of meat.

Star Tours needs a major overhaul
But at least the queue line was a ball.

We decided to pass on the backlot tour.
(Because of the lights at night...not because it's a bore)

We decided to shop around and I bought the Christmas DVD...
I had to buy two of them actually...one for me and one for Spidey.

The Osbourne Lights were drawing near,
Holographic glasses were now part of our "gear"

Angels flew around every bright light,
Bringing an aura of hope, amazement, and delight

Millions and millions of illuminations lit the night sky
I was in awe that it started in the yard of one guy.

Snow began to fall down New York Street.
It wasn't as cold as the Boston snow...and it didn't cover our feet.

(The following are pics of the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights)

The Osborne Lights were a site to behold
and although it was 70 today...the night turned cold.

I picked up the phone and talked to our friend Dawn
I asked her if she wanted to meet me at Downtown before I was gone.

I told her that we were heading to the Wilderness Lodge and I'd call her when were were leaving.
We were so dead tired that Downtown Disney was out of the question for this evening.

I made a terrible mistake and I felt like a dope.
I thought I could get us back to Coronado easily...but NOPE

(I thought that we could go to the Ticket/Tran Center for a bus back to Coronado Springs but little did I know that you could NOT...so...we hopped BACK on the bus and headed to the Wilderness Lodge again (normally I would've hopped the monorail to the MK and grabbed a bus...but...the last monorail had left :( )

Back to the Wilderness Lodge bus stop the five of us wait.
We wait and we wait because the bus is so late.

(We waited for 1 1/2 hours for a bus to arrive (Tyler, you may have heard about this problem...they had to pull another driver off of his route because 3 busses were unaccounted for)

The fantasy that is the Magic Kingdom was right in front of us.
We decided to get there by monorail...we were fed up with the bus.

We entered the gates and low and behold...
It was like a winter wonderland of fantasy without all the cold.

Christmas decorations of all shapes and sizes
As many, if not more, than all children fantasizes.

We all stroll up Main Street and look in the windows
Each window is decorated with a wreath...complete with bows.

The castle stands tall as the Kingdom's beacon.
Hmmm...I wonder if they'd let a little freak in?

Adventureland was the first path to be taken...
We had a dole whip for breakfast (it was better than bacon)

The Swiss Family Treehouse we didn't bother to climb...
We've all done it before...no need to do it this time.

The Carpets of Aladdin with camels that spit...
We spun around and around and didn't get hit.

The Jungle Cruise was next with it's corny jokes.
It's the same thing over and over...but I love them blokes.

We moved on to the Pirates of the Caribbean...
Down the falls we go...I thought they had me in.

The smell of McDonald's golden fries wofted in the air...
Did we get some??? NO WAY...you can get them ANYWHERE

Screams are now heard from the Mountain of Splash...
We didn't touch the handles though...they might give you a rash

Big Thunder Mountain looms in the distance,
Everyone rode it...even Nance (Nancy is my mom)

We all stopped for a churro and a quick drink.
No better place to get them...no...none that I can think.

To make Grizz happy, next we saw the Christmas Hoedown
I had never seen it...for all I knew it could've been Motown.

One of the funniest things was Big Al in a diaper.
But I guess it does have one benefit...he doesn't need a wiper :hurl:

Grizzly (and I) really hope that Freak had fun!
Hopefully it wasn't too hot in that Frontierland sun.
The bears miss you and they want to say
That they'll be happy to perform for you every day!

:D

In the Haunted Mansion, all 999 happy haunts greeted us
Even they felt sorry that we had to wait in the cold for that bus

We took a flight with Tink, Peter Pan, and Wendy...
I don't know about Wendy and Peter...but Tink was pretty trendy.

It's a Small World was next up...
Those evil dolls had a child all chopped up

After It's a Small World we decided to stop...
So, we headed back to Main Street to eat at Tony's and shop.

Nightfall was here and the festivities were to begin.
I looked for Dawn all day...and my time was wearing thin.

7 o'clock arrived and the Party was about to start
Hot Chocolate and Christmas cookies warmed my heart.

I checked the photo areas at the attractions that were closed...
CoP and Timekeeper...seems like they got hosed.

Space Mountain had snowflakes falling all over it
Looks like Dawn and Tyler need to fix their "hats" a bit

The Tomorrowland attractions were fun as usual if not more...
Alien Encounter, Transit Authority, and on Buzz I got my high score.

I was getting a little hungry so I went to Casey's
This parade was to be the best...even better than Macy's

Outside of Casey's I stood to watch the parade.
I couldn't wait to see the kind of floats they had made.

(The following is pretty much the full parade in pics...sorry some didn't come out too good)

Mickey & Minnie
