Thanks, Dopey. It's strange but I remember a time when I thought Disney World, Epcot and the Magic Kingdom were all different and/or all the same place. I never even had a desire to go - I always thought it was for kids. My parents begged me to go (they had been a couple times already) and I finally gave in because I was sick of hearing about it all of the time. And it was amazing to me how much I enjoyed it. When I got home I started planning the next visit right away and I still do that when I come home. I always know the next time I will be at WDW.:p

i, too, passed on a trip to wdw when i was 17, thinking it was for little kids. every now and then i kick myself for that.

and i missed a really great scene, too. one of my sisters was, like, 8 1/2 months pregnant, just absolutely huge, and she went on the dumbo ride. well, let's just say the ride malfunctioned and she couldn't get it to go up in the air.

my brother-in-law caught this on video, along with some play-by-play, but it had to be erased very soon thereafter upon threats to his ability to, um....put her in that situation again.

Sorry MrPromey I can't go, I am now thoroughly addicted to this site!! I don't post much, but enjoy going through the threads as entertainment (that says alot about my life)!!

By the way, let me officially introduce myself. My name is Linda and I am the Office Manager to the Superintendent of Schools in my County (Northwest Florida region). I LOVE DISNEY!! My former boss (I worked at an Elementary School) called my love for Disney a Fettish, I told her it was a way of life!! Of course she has never been! But her first grandchild is on the way and I am sure she is destined for it one day. We visit Walt Disney World on average 2 times a year. It takes approximately 7 hours to drive there from my home. I would go more often if the boss would let me off. (Bad Boss:mad: ) I also coordinate the Disney Club for our School District so I try to keep up-to-date on all the current info. I have two girls and a wonderful husband who are Disney fanatics as well. Some say I have brainwashed them. Our next trip will be August 29 - Sep 4 of this year for my daughter's 13th birthday.

Thanks Steve for all your wonderful work and thanks to the frequent "posters" for keeping me entertained! I truly do enjoy the drifting also, it adds to the excitement!:) :D

This is the thread that will not die!! It has a life of it's own. All I can do is stand back and pray it doesn't spread, and doesn't do too much further damage!! ;)

Tinkmeister here...I was so caught up in revelling in the attentions of Mr. Promey and Dopey that I nearly forgot I had a class tonight and had to dash off quite suddenly. I missed part of a very important lecture on database management systems and thread drift. I hope you two are satisfied. ;)

By the way Mr. Promey, just who is Mr. Dopey defying (as in "defiantly" - sorry I couldn't resist...)?

I want to say thank you to everyone here at WDWMagic for their warmth. In addition to WDW, I am now addicted to this Forum. It's like a little bit of The World right here at home, eh? Steve does a TREMENDOUS job.

Hey Tink, good to meet ya! I am sure you will fit in with the rest of the lovely ladies on this forum.

I agree about the addiction thing though! Ariel and I have discussed how there may be need to set up a self help group to help with the addiction!

And I have to second the fact that Steve does such a great job, and say thanks for allowing a thread like this, and a few others to keep going, despite the fact there is such a large amount of drivel posted on it!! (mainly by Jay_London). ALL HAIL to the "chit chat" area of the forum.

Well...you tried to warn them Marcia and they just didn't believe you! Too bad. Things always seem to run more smoothly with a woman on top though, don't they? (guys, I know what you are thinking about that comment, so no need to respond) ;)
