So we just got home from our trip to Disney on the 25th and I already want to go back. Trip planning all started back in January when my bfs mom decided she wanted to take the boys on a trip. What better place than Disney? Right! My boyfriend is in the military so he got a 40% discount on the 2 rooms that we had booked at Pop Century. We also got a 4 day park hopper pass.

The night before our journey my Bf & I decided to stay at his moms since we had an early flight out at 6am and had to get up at 2am to be at the airport on time. We were all very excited to be going on vacation especially ma Kim & the 2 boys. Everyone went to bed around 10 and were awoken at 2am with excitement. We had a friend of the family pick us up and drop us off at the airpot so we wouldn't have to pay for parking. We had 2 stops along the way with us finally landing at MCO around 11:30 am.
We quickly made our way down to the Magical Express and were directed to our line. We didn't have a long wait til we were onto the bus.
And we were on our way to the most Magical Place. We were soon greeted by this
Good start! We leave in 10 days for our WDW vacation and we will be staying at Pop as well. We've never stayed there before so I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures!
We made it to our resort around 12:30 and the check in line wasn't bad at all:so happy: We got two separate rooms and were hoping that they would be next to each other and near the pool/ buses. Did we get what we wanted?
We got the pool like we wanted along with the 4th floor and rooms next to each other. We also had a very short walk to the buses. So we were all satisfied with that. We got to our rooms and put our rooms and put our stuff away. Then it was off to DTD for some shopping and food. The bus wait at the resort wasn't that long and we were on our way. DTD wasn't that busy yet it was around 2 and the weather was beautiful. We browsed around in a bunch of shops and surprisingly didn't buy anything this time. Here's some photos from that day:

After shopping around for a while we decided to head back to resort and go in the pool before heading back out for dinner. We stayed in the pool for about 2 hours then decided around 8 that we should decide on where we wanted to go for dinner. We weren't on any dining plan so we tried to eat good food but on the less expensive side. We decided we would go back to DTD and try Planet Hollywood. When we got there we saw a wait line so I asked how long it would be and they said 45 minutes to an hour then asked how many were in my party. I told them 5 & they said one second. next thing we know they said go right in we have a table ready for you.We stopped for the picture session then were walked to our table on the 2nd floor. It was pretty neat inside & definatly a lot going on. We ordered buffalo chicken tenders for an appetizer and they were really good. I had ordered the turkey club, My bf had gotten a turkey club as well, Ryan got the spaghetti plate and James got chicken fingers. If I remember correctly Ma Kim got some kind of fish. And we were all satisfied with our choices they were very good. Sorry no food pictures we forgot to take pictures every time we went to eat. After dinner we walked around for a little longer then headed back to the resort and decided to go down to the arcade and play some games before heading back to the room for some sleep. We had to be up early for Typhoon Lagoon or so we thought? Here's some pictures from the rest of our day
Ma Kim & James were very tired from the trip down they fell asleep on the bus to DTD
The next morning came quick. I was the first one up and out of bed at 7:30. I was ready to start the day. I jumped in the shower before anyone else woke up. Once I was out everyone else had woken up. Today was supposed to be Typhoon Lagoon day but we went outside and it looked very cloudy so we checked the weather and it said rain for most of the day. So we decided that it wouldn't be best to go to a water park this day.
These were the clouds rolling in and they only got darker behind that.
James decided he wanted to go in the pool for a little while so Ma Kim stayed behind with him while the rest of us went down to Everything pop diner to get some breakfast. I got the pop waffle with bacon and sausage which was very good, Brad & Ryan got a sausage croissant with home fries and they thought that was pretty good as well. After that we walked around the resort and took some pictures before heading back to Ma Kim to see what the plans were going to be for the day.
The new Disney Animation resort.
More clouds rolling in
We made it back to the resort and Brad got on the computer to check the weather one last time. It still said rain for most of the day.
Here he is looking out at the clouds
We decided we would go down and use the pool for a little while and then went and got a late lunch at the pop diner. By that time it was almost 5 so we decided we would head to the bus stop to get to Blizzard beach to go mini golfing at WinterSummerland. We knew that Blizzard beach had closed at 5 but we still thought that buses came there to pick people up from mini golf to bring you back to your resort. Well we were wrong. After playing some mini golf we went back to the bus stop and waited for a little bit to see if a bus came. But one never came so we decided to walk. We walked over to Coronado Springs resort to catch a bus at there bus stop. That took us about 30 minutes to get there and figure out how to get to the buses. What a pain that was but it was good exercise. Here's Some Pictures:
Here's some pictures from our walk through Coronado Springs:
After we made it to the bus stop we didn't have long to wait for a bus. We took the bus to Epcot then hopped the bus to Pop Century from there. Once back at our resort we went down and jumped in the pool for a while before dinner. The pool water was really warm but it was cooler outside.
