It's not like Disney's shows and parades are all new every year.

True. But sometimes they surprise you. Nobody really expected to see a dragon catch fire.

I wish they would have incorporated that element as a more permanent feature in the parades. They could have alternated participating floats and kept us all guessing.

I think it would have produced some very well needed bonding opportunities through proactive dialogue between family members as they speculated on “Which float you think gets it today?”

Would think they would be more prepared for this since they are a "Value Added Experience".
To "prepare," they'd have to arrange (a) more hardware, (b) more bandwidth and (c) more people to be available.

All three of those cost money.

The current philosopy is "Why pay more to help people spend more when they're going to keep calling and spending even if we DON'T spend more?"

I know this year is kind of different but a MNSSHP with little or no villains, really make us asking what is going on with entertainment.

I know they kind of learned with the Villains Unleashed but still they should bring up more villains even taking them out from the parade to make a meet and greet.

I haven't heard anything said about no villains at MNSSHP

Last year introduced 3 meet-able villains. Cruella greeted all guests as they entered and Maleficent and Evil Queen were both in the Princess Fairytale Hall candy trail. I wouldn't be surprised if there are more this year, as they testing waters for the villains land, and have the villains show running.

I will be in town in late September and have the chance to experience this again…
The HalloParty has always been one of my favorite after hours special events, but this year I am just not feeling it.
Can’t believe I am saying this, but I am probably not bothering this time around.

The price increases ( some seemingly quite higher ) and the lack of anything new announced thus far has me holding off.

I have done this event multiple times over the years, and the last six to eight years have all been pretty much the same in all aspects.
Except the price, of course…but this year seems to be a big jump.
And for the exact same experience.
A little variety would be nice…

Perhaps as we get closer to the start of the events there will be info about new additions or tweaked ‘enhancments’.

For now, I am passing.

That, as they say…is scary…..!
