Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2025

I got thru on the phone and purchased, was on hold for 25 minutes and I called at exactly 7:00 EST. Would think they would be more prepared for this since they are a "Value Added Experience". 10/31 is the only date I can do so I was afraid it would sell out.

Feel like Im stuck in an endless cycle - i get through to my cart, there are now 16 tickets in there as I had to keep refreshing an adding, now figured out I can simply go to cart, but that keeps crashing every time i try to change from 16 to 4 ..... get the feeling its not going to end well.

Assuming I did this correctly, there is an average of 8% increase to the pricing. Average price for October is over $200 before tax

went to the app after not being able to try buying them on my computer. it keeps giving me a digital option. i prefer that they get mailed to me but it won’t give me that option.

This is extremely frustrating especially since I don’t have the ability to actually be “on the phone” to take care of it…………………….

IIRC all they mail you is a [regular] admission card, just like you'd get for anything else (and it would even work for any other tickets). It hasn't been something specific to the party in a while so unless you already don't have a physical hard copy admission card, shouldn't really matter

I thought the amount of $199s was way higher than last year. They took the ceiling last year and said “Let’s do that all October!”

We’ll see how sales go. Until people stop buying, prices won’t stop going up.

Oh I get it; I used to get the physical ones too, even made sure to get my AP card every year, but once they started to be a 10th card added to everyone's profile (on top of all their MBs) and AP wants to see the digital version for discounts, figured it was time to stop. SO MANY deactivated cards on our profiles ☠️

yeah, average price for October is no $203 (plus tax). October is up 9.4% on average from last year

August isn't crazy (up 4% - that's around inflation) but Sept and October are up, on average quite a bit

They got some racket going on here. MK does very little to create these parties. Is it my imagination or are there less candy stations these days?

Compare this to what HHN at Universal does. No comparison.

ETA: One more September date, one fewer October date from 2024-to-2025

Still milking those October cows crowds.

It's almost like they have data that we don't see...

;)
With the exception of the first and last sets of parties, it looks like they just added $10 across the board to the remainder of the parties. In terms of additional parties, I think the past couple of years they were burned with Hurricane closures that canceled party nights. This was a way to mitigate those losses.

I can't think of a better example of someone manifesting "comparing apples to oranges."

A very scary horror fest is nothing like a campy not-so-scary romp. They're literally incomparable. Might as well say the Haunted Mansion is mid.

And MK does little?
  • An exclusive parade
  • An exclusive fireworks show
  • An exclusive castle show
  • Exclusive character M&Gs
  • A bunch of smaller shows and attractions
  • A holiday overlay of some attractions
  • Less than capacity number of guests
And even if there is less candy stations, you can get back in line as many times as you want. There's no rationing going on.

If you're going to keep trying to find ways to score points against Disney, try facts next time.
