The problem with this franchise (and most franchises) you can't please everyone. What I may enjoy from this movie, you may not, and so on. I enjoyed Mando S3, was it as good as S1 & 2? No. But I still really enjoyed it. A lot of people didn't.

Rogue One is my favorite SW film, and I love Andor, but a lot of people don't.
Yes, I enjoyed all three Mando seasons and loved Rogue One. Ashoka could have been better and more like Rebels. Andor was slow and boring but that is just me. Obi-Wan was painful.

The Mandalorian & Grogu is set to release in theaters on May, 22 2026.

I hope they reconsider this one…

That means the Star Wars Obaid-Chinoy "Rey Skywalker" movie is bumped off the calendar.

I think the story was pretty much done after season 2…you couldn’t beat that

I’m curious if they can do a good standalone story? That’s what they’d need to pull off now
The question is will it actually be a standalone story, I'm not so sure. I'm interested to see what story they tell with the characters. But also curious to see how it will tie into everything else they've been doing with the "Mandoverse" and if it ties into the ST as that appeared to be where they were heading.

Sigourney Weaver is reportedly in talks to join The Mandalorian & Grogu.

"Sci-fi legend Sigourney Weaver has faced off against face-hugging aliens and squared off against colonizers on lush green planets, but she has never faced stormtroopers and galactic bounty hunters.

Until now.

Weaver is in talks to join the cast of The Mandalorian & Grogu, the first Star Wars movie to go into to go into production since 2019’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed."
