In my minds eye, I can't imagine a ride built in the year 2025 that should even closely resemble the utter failure that JII is.I would imagine it would be smoother

Ride system. Mermaid and Mansion have the same ride system. In my minds eye, I can't imagine a ride built in the year 2025 that should even closely resemble the utter failure that JII is.
You’re talking about the latter 2 right? Right? In any case as @TrainsOfDisney said I was talking ride system not the actual quality of the rideIn my minds eye, I can't imagine a ride built in the year 2025 that should even closely resemble the utter failure that JII is.

Okay phewyep.
If the ride vehicles don’t end up being connected at all then you’re actually looking more at a classic fantasyland dark ride type deal like Pooh Alice or Pinocchio with Encanto moreso than a Figment.
Kinda reminds me of the little mermaid rideJust saw about this new patent - wonder if it could be used as part of the Encanto ride to make it more immersive and help hide the track and other cars from youView attachment 844409

With the exception of a Bruno scene it probably won’t be that darkUntil they create projectors that can match the natural light around them it would be way too bright for this to work in a ride as dark as something like Haunted Mansion.
We do not talk about that scene! With the exception of a Bruno scene it probably won’t be that dark
Cool idea but seems cost-prohibitive and not at all practical.Just saw about this new patent - wonder if it could be used as part of the Encanto ride to make it more immersive and help hide the track and other cars from youView attachment 844409
That’s the definition of everything at a Disney theme park. Haha.Cool idea but seems cost-prohibitive and not at all practical.

Im personally hoping for something like Figment. Where you have 4-5 furniture vehicles on a track going room to room and allowing for a bit more show in each scene, but still keeping a high capacity(with enough cars). Or just a straight up omnimover like little mermaid.I’m very intrigued by the omimover I was sure it was going to a trackless dark ride this could end up being better a (presumably) slow moving omimover would have to have more depth of scenery not that the trackless rides are bad but it’s exciting that end result might be closer to haunted mansion than mystic manor although that would have been awesome too
So most similar to Figment, but on a bigger scale? If so, that's awesome imoI’m home. Not an omni but track based. Specifics are sparse but imagine a static load/unload with one or more (or even a group of 4) RVs moving around the attraction, each with 2 rows per vehicle. Separate ADA load. And a betting man might also say 14 distinct show scenes.
