Disney Files Notice of Commencement for Triceratops Spin and Fossil Fun Games Demolition at Animal Kingdom

While I don't believe Triceratops Spin will be saved and relocated (ex - to Toy Story Land), it will be interesting to see how they take down this attraction.

Anything to read into paperwork?

It seems like now the company is more interested in efficiency of design which clearly the DL version was not... It was the most elaborate queue they had ever built...The ride sets are amazing and beautifully done. Seems like the new philosophy is simpler, cheaper and integrate more screens. I think adding Indy will be great, I just hope it is not the budget version that is not as great as what they have previously built... and I hope they don't create some social commentary backstory that is not necessary.
Yeah you can see this a bit with the refresh at DL as well, where they added the projection mapping of the temple falling apart at the end. I personally am not a fan of this, as it takes me out of the moment. Hopefully they don't do this for the AK version.

It will be demoed. TSL already has the Alien Swirling Saucers spinner.
Triceratops Spin is a completely different experience to Alien Swirling Saucers....That is like saying because there is a carusel in Fantasyland they should not have a Dumbo attraction in Fantasyland... not that there is enugh area for Triceratops Spin, but it would be nice to add a little something extra VS demolition and get rid of it...

Yep that would be a real difference maker at DHS, compared to parks like DCA/DL/MK.

DCA/DL/MK has plenty of "carnival rides". They might seem like they are throwaways, but they are perfect for the families with small children.

At a place like DHS, which is in E-Ticket overdrive, we could some more carnival rides.

It still won't happen. After everyone crying about getting rid of a cheap fair from AK, the last thing they're going to do is add that. I just looked at the ride. You're right. Better fit for MK. They already have three of that type of ride. Why stop there? Add a fourth.

At minimum, they should be careful when demoing so they have replacement parts for their other spinners. When I was in the parks (Christmas week, when they need everything running at 100%), no fewer than 3 carpets were broken on that spinner. I doubt anyone would notice if they quietly replaced them with 3 triceratops.

And those games at Boardwalk are almost never open. Maybe they just need replacement squirt guns?

Especially as Triceratops is exactly the same ride mechanism as Carpets with the tilting lever in the back row. One of the reasons we got Triceratops was because they were making Carpets at the same time and decided to clone Carpets for WDS' opening and AK

Side note, an Adventurers Club style TSR themed to Indy movies would be the most sought after ADR in all 4 parks. Just sayin'...
I am sure, absolutely sure this would be true... Much like Hoo Dee Doo at Fort Wilderness, a dinner theater version of The Adventurer's Club would be a huge hit...if it happens to contain an "adults Only" hidden Speakeasy, so much the better and there would be even more people clamoring to get in... It would fit beautifully at many different hotels... Poly, Grand Floridian, Boardwalk, Yacht Club, Animal Kingdom Lodge...as well as DAK, DHS, or MK... though I would avoid the MK with that one. Then they need to add the "Happy Haunts Ball" as a Haunted restaurant/spekeasy to MK.....which would also be a ridiculously huge hit.
