As long as it has some nice sets of the rooms, and some great AAs of the characters then I'd be okay with it. As long as it's not all screens, if there are a couple of places with screens or projections then that's fine IMO.

I love Remy -- this type of attraction would be welcome in AK!
I actually do like Remy I just don't think that kind of ride works for Encanto. I think Encanto is a ride that needs lots of physical sets and AAs. It can have seems or projections but they have to be used well. It has to be used in a way that can't be done physically imo.

I could see a hybrid with built out sets, screenz for content and intro/outro AAs.

What's that new Peter Pan attraction like?

Out of everything announced for WDW - Encanto and the parade are the only things I genuinely want to experience.

I do think the carousel will be nice as well - fits the mood and the theme and is a good all-ages attraction.

I don’t think Indiana Jones is a natural addition to Encanto - so I’d just plus up dinosaur and the area and make it separate if it was me.
I also don't think losing the Boneyard for the kids is plus when you can keep it than just make an entrance to the Land like any other.

Well that's a relief! My source said screen-heavy and proposed the glasses question, haha.

My main worry was screeeeenssss, I think a ride based on this IP would heavily benefit from well built sets.
If this turns out to be screen heavy could this be similar to the new Peter Pan in Fantasy Springs? I would always prefer real sets and animatronics, but i didn't terrible hate watching the ride POV. I think since that land got a long heavy AA Frozen, then kinda short but still nice AA Tangled, that the trade off was Pan would be screen heavy.

I'm sure there'll be screens too. I just don't think it's going to be like (say) Fast & Furious over at Universal.

Na'Vi River Journey has both screens and large rooms with physical decor. Set aside that Na'Vi is a boat ride, the idea is kinda what I'm picturing for Encanto.
