MK Country Bear Jamboree is getting new songs and acts

I have no doubt that the current show is going to get boring for people, if it hasn't already.
It’s also worth mentioning that MK is most a park full of first-timers/once-in-a-lifetimers. If this was Disneyland, with mostly locals, I could see it being boring fast, but most people will be seeing it for the first time in MK.
I prefer the original three shows but this new one is far from awful. If the original is a 10/10, this is an 8/10. The Bears have always been cover artists and have sung Disney songs in the past. This is more blatant IP synergy but the imagineers took an awful show idea and made something pretty good out of it that was respectful to the characters we’ve known for 50 years. In some ways it feels like the original. I hope we get new overlays or variations though to mix things up- having a randomized show would be a good idea imo. Each Bear has three songs to pick from (minus the intro and finale), making every show unique and encouraging rewatches.

Sure for some people but some of us like it hot take but I prefer it to the original that kind of country humor just isn’t my thing heck I don’t even like country music but the songs in the new one are great

I'm actually with you on this. I liked the original simply because it was original to the park, not because I particularly liked the songs/humor (and my daughter hated the original). I enjoyed the remake.

I hated country music before I saw the Country Bears (as an adult, I saw it plenty as a kid), but I’ve come to like a lot of the classic stuff. I realized my dislike of country was purely MODERN country, classic western and folk country are really charming and nice to listen to. Shout out to Dave Dudley lol

I’m sorry would you prefer robots with souls? Because if you do, you’re at the wrong park, and may only get your wish if you go between Labor Day-First week in November.

What do you mean? They’re bears. They’re flesh and blood bears that sing and live in Florida. Saying they’re not real is like saying Santa isn’t real… and surely you don’t mean…
Excuse me, there are children on these forums. How dare you even imply that the big red magical fat dude isn't... I can't even bear to type the rest of that sentence

Maybe @lentesta can tell us how this compares to the old version. However, the new version looks like it's doing pretty well for itself (3.9/5). Which is tied with small world.

The new version is rated higher by every age demographic we ask.

The new version gets a 4.5 out of 5 from pre-schoolers, grade school, over 30's, and seniors. It gets 4.0 from teens and young adults.

The old version got 4.0 from preschoolers, over 30's, and seniors, and 3.5 from everyone else.

I'm just going to point out that The Black Eyed Peas' My Humps, which critics have called the worst pop song of its decade, hit #1 in many countries and #3 in the US. Sometimes ratings and quality diverge.

That makes sense as a lot of people who visit the parks now don't have any attachment to the older attractions. Add in hearing songs they know makes it a better experience.
