If they could not get Guests to climb the stairs to visit a gift shop before, what makes them think that Guests will now climb stairs to visit a DVC advertisement space..?

I mean, seriously.
Is anyone within the Company honestly thinking this through…?

This is a complete waste of an area that could have been used for something better and more befitting to the Pavillion it is located in.

Do we think this is the last DVC incursion into Epcot (e.g. in park hotel)?

No. I still say they’re going to do the below with World Showcase DVC Bungalows…!!!!! 🤪 :hilarious:

I never visited the shop that was there and I am sure it was lovely
It was probably the location that caused it to close so I hope no one ever goes into this DVC showroom
I don't mean to be rude to you, so I apologize if it comes off that way, but were the stairs so off-putting?

I just don't understand how a flight of (not steep) stairs could keep so many people from exploring a nice, themed area. In a theme park.
I said this yesterday a maple themed shop would have been great. I had a maple frosted donut this morning made with maple syrup and it was the most delicious donut I have had in a long time!
So, maple syrup would've lured you up the stairs? 😉😁

Even though the room looked just like the Poly rooms, I was hoping it was somehow tied to the Lakeshore. It would be a stretch but with the western expansion and all that I was thinking maybe they were going that route. To see confirmation that it's poly is irritating - even more annoying when you see the color palette that is not Poly at all. It reminds me more of a bar/lounge that's in a currently Victorian themed building. Velvets, blues, nothing poly or Canada feeling, but hey, there's candy!

Very curious to see all this and how different it looks from the last time I was in there many years ago, would love if the Gordon lightfoot heavy BGM loop survived lol

The curiosity will get to all of us, but then it will give way to frustration. Stairs or no stairs I think people would still climb the stairs for something interesting. They gave up on theming a long time ago, but selling the poly tower in Canada? It makes no sense.

So true - People will climb stairs for something interesting. What is going in this space is… the opposite of interesting. 😣🤑
