This is great news for all the Actors Equity performers that would love a full time gig at Disney but there’s not enough to go around so they end up going elsewhere like Cruiseline, Tours etc.

Did it do that well? I never really heard any buzz for it... Like a straight to video sequel... I feel like it was here and gone pretty quickly... Though I think the live action versions have all been pretty terrible...and mostly unnecessary.

Official press states the new show is inspired by the classic animation studios "the little mermaid" so hopefully it will be taking it's visual cues more from the animated film than the live action (i'm looking at you creepy looking fish!)

Was visiting Studios today and saw the VoTLM dimensional sign.
It was fun standing across from it and hearing the confused Guests wondering what was inside the building…and then trying to get in there.

Makes me think this is a bit misleading for people and perhaps it’s time to cover it over until the new stage show opens?

The sign has been like that since March 2020 with the theatre vacant. If they were going to cover it up, they would’ve done it then.
