I thought we were criticizing Disney for the lack of live entertainment...

I'm just curious. I think it would be nice if there was some separation but I haven't been there since the new hub was opened so I don't have a good sense of where everything is in relation to everything else.

It also depends on what the entertainment actually is. The Encanto sing-along they're opening with, e.g., has the potential to be pretty annoying for people elsewhere in the hub if it's really loud (that's the kind of thing that works better in a theater or something similar IMO), but other things might not be.

Having dark tiles and birds dropping something on it isn't the best look.

cool!! I plan on telling folks that the strange floating rectangle of triangles is an abstract titled 'The Borg ship that assimilated Heihei'.

Those Diamond triangles work so well on Spaceship Earth but here just from this angle it looks like they are sticking on the building like an abomination of pimples, the diamonds look like mouths like they all would go "my my my" calling out like the seagulls in finding nemo.. scary and itching looking. 😂😬 In the Florida raging heat.

Yes. They could have easily done a drop, using the triangle pattern for the grid vs. the standard squares/rectangles. It could be filled with some type of tile - with necessary ones removed based on each show's lighting/sound/rigging requirements. The sleek underside almost looks worse with this approach IMHO.

Besides this lighting, how much construction is actually still going on in terms of the “Transformation”? I was there two weeks ago, and saw some walls by the Moana bathroom/utilidor stairs and the Imagination path flex space along with the CommuniCore area, but I don’t remember any walls other than that. When this opens, is that all the walls left?

New lighting has been added to CommuniCore Plaza - photos from today.

I I know they tore down the original innoventions buildings by accident, but I wish they simply gutted the buildings and put a stage inside the building so the performances could be enjoyed in an air conditioned space, and maybe even with seating!!

I know, I know, I am such a dreamer.

This standing in the hot sun to watch stuff is not good.

Yes, I remember watching the fountain of nations in the hot sun, but the water spray from fountains was like natural air conditioning and it was bearable to stand there and watch the fountain show.

I would assume many shows will be at night, hence the lights.
