I wasn't attached to them but was still sorry to see them go as they put in a lot of time and work at the park, but they couldn't, you know, perform in front of a construction wall for the next few years? LOL

Or the new stage in front of the Chinese Theatre?

It's a shame the park dumped them and some Citizens of Hollywood. Soon the parks will have nothing left to cut to save a buck. They're so short-sighted.

Some people have speculated that there was simply no where to put Mulch in the parks that wont cause a bottleneck due to the construction. I am not 100% sure I agree with that one. There are a lot of areas that could have been utilized better such as the new flex theatre by Tower. Have them play inside there in between a DJ so everyone gets some music they like. As you said the new stage would be ideal as well. There may be other areas that could be opened up as well. I think that the Studios, which is one of my favorite parks, does need all of the entertainment and attractions it can get during this transition period. Mulch and some of the Streetmosphere, being as mobile as they are, would have been ideal to maintain. Marie

I believe that is the age range, yes. My Uncle does live there so I have been to the area, it is really pretty over there. A bit of a drive from the World though. About an hour and a half or so as I recall. I am not going to be in town for this show but would love to see them again. Also the original Buzz Sweat, played by Jameson has re-joined the group as the most current Buzz, played by Luke has moved to a different part of the country. Jameson was off on tour with Ringling Brothers but that show is closing so he has moved back into the area. I hope some are able to go and enjoy it!! Marie

In case folks were wondering, American Martian was a pretty big hit in The Villages. A few folks recognized them from Disney. In one case it led to a joke about them being "forced into retirement" from WDW, perfect considering the crowd. They are returning for another performance May 1 I believe.

(FYI I'm not a retiree, but happen to work in the area. Was pleasantly surprised to see them on the schedule.)

I wonder how many people in that photo have a purple door with yellow flowers.
