Is there any reason they can't put them in the windows like WDW and DLR?
They might not have enough room. Disneyland has more room to work with inside the buildings for the projectors, meanwhile the projectors at Disney World are smaller & space efficient focused which is why there is a common complaint of them being a bit dimmer than DL's.

The projectors seem to be a bit more well hidden than the Hong Kong ones, you can only see them if you are walking on the far right & left sides of the side walk on main street.

This account is showing them visible during the day tho?

If they're on lifts that's gonna be one labor intensive task of making sure all of those many projectors are aligned before each show unless they just hope for the best before each show.

I'm not sure the projector is being on lift would actually impact the alignment that much because the it's a small world projectors are on lifts.

There is also Walt's on the second floor of one of the blocks. All the other second floors are occupied by offices if I am correct.

I am assuming these projectors have only just been installed... so let's give them a bit of a grace period to either get them themed or hidden? The projectors for the castle are themed as are the supports for the Halloween/Christmas garlands so they have previous for theming new infrastructure on the top of Main Street.

Absolutely, but they’d better hurry up. The castle projector theming is top notch and very well done. Hopefully TWDC now having total ownership won’t cheapen this particular project, but I don’t know how well they can be hidden without a HK effect.

As of this morning there’s still no theming.

I think we had different timescales in mind... I was thinking by January once they have finished programming the new show and the Christmas garlands are down etc.

From memory it took years for the Dreams projects to be themed unless I am thinking of a different park.
Those are way worse than I realised.
Same.
They seem to only be on the roof of Walt's, so could it be because of the restaurant that they couldn't put it in the windows?
If someone cold confirm it is just on Walt's that would at least limit the potential damage.

If they’re on stage now, they’re on show now. Yes, Dreams was hidden over quite the period of time although the more blatant items were quickly disguised from day one (the mist screen projectors spring to mind) although the castle projectors weren’t - albeit being more set back than these are.

Great news for shopping fans – three new Disney boutiques are set to open progressively from the first quarter of 2025 at Disney Village. These new retail concepts are an integral part of the transformation of Disney Village, designed to offer guests a more modern, inviting and unique experience, with a touch of Disney magic.

Behind schedule then but no real surprise I don’t think. Progress hasn’t been quick.
