When it comes to businesses that have long held a position of prominence in their respective industry, their fall is not a sudden event but the result of a gradual process that is difficult to overcome. It has happened before, it will happen again and it can happen to Walt Disney World.
Also, when it comes to business, it is not always a steady climb of success. There are often peaks and valley's. Could this simply be a valley WDW finds itself in?

How is a systematic and cultural disregard for the founding philosophies a valley? The numbers remain strong, it's the means and motives behind some of those numbers that is concerning.

So we're done with that analogy, I guess?

Anyway, it's not fair to just brand people here as haters just because they are critical. Along those same lines, there is a lot more in life to worry or complain about than what others write anonymously online about a theme park.
Now, per the Slang Dictionary, haters are simply referred to as those who disagree, disapprove, or doubt. With that kind of definition, I guess we are all haters. . .

Let's call it a creative valley then? Or maybe a canyon. Then, we can say all of the critics are simply yodeling in the canyon. . .

But, everything Ihave seen on this site for the new anamatronics looks good. Too bad we missed it being open by a few weeks. . .

Micro success does not preclude macro problems.

In other words, Often times, evaluation is demand-driven and is conducted where stakeholders, for varied reasons, happen to have an appetite for it. Instead, we should aim to evaluate where we know little, taking a strategic view in forwarding solutions to those issues that are most pressing and less understood on the grander development agenda.

I like yodeling in the canyon better. . .

I'm confused.

If you like WDW and you enjoy spending time there with your family and making memories, that's great!

If others look at the parks from a more critical perspective, how does that affect your enjoyment of the parks? Just because you enjoy the parks, doesn't mean there aren't things to criticize. And just because there are things to criticize, doesn't mean you shouldn't enjoy the parks.

So many frivolous arguments are catalyzed on these forums by people who try to coerce the other perspective that their viewpoint is "wrong."

All the things wrong with WDW, and there are many MANY of them, does not take away the fact that some people here were pleasantly surprised by the AA's that they placed in this particular ride.

So yeah, these are pretty cool. Better than I expected (my opinion). They were better than LEE expected, and he's an insider. But that does not mean everyone needs to like it.

OK. Let's say, for arguments sake that she has put on a few pounds. Do you continually hit her with "Hey Fatty", "Maybe that portion size is too big", "You should skip dessert", "Boy, those pants don't seem to fit you like they used to", "I didn't know they made underware that size", "You know, Carol down the street sure has lost a lot of weight. . . She is looking real good"

I consider myself a customer of The Walt Disney Company - not in a relationship with the company.

I work things out with my wife and compromise because we are unit together, and there is give in take in a RELATIONSHIP.

I am a customer of TWDC, not it's mate, friend, spouse, or family. I owe them nothing. I patronize TWDC as long as it provides a product I am interested in. I follow the TWDC because they offer a product and participate in a field for which I have interests.

The whole spouse thing is so far off base. It's a business I patronize, not a relative or friend.

Yes, but the vast majority are those that say something positive and then get crapped on since the whole Disney Orlando establishment "is nothing more than a shiny turd. . ."

(When I woke up this morning, I never dreamed I would type this) So, in short, give me that shiny turd.

I am lucky enough to have season passes to King's Island. Now, in comparison, it is not even a shiny turd, just a dirty, stinky one, but still, with all its issues, we still go and have a good time. Now with the longest suspended coaster opening this weekend, we have even more reason to spend time with the dirty turd.

With divorce rates what they are, your view on 'relationships' is just spot on. If marraige was treated as a true relationship, the world would be a better place. Make sure you tell that wife of yours you Love her. You cannot underestimate that simple phrase, when said with conviction.

Can't anyone simply see I was just looking for somewhere to use that underwear line. Sheesh. Still, people are naive if you do not believe for some, maybe even most, the emotional attachment they have to Disney does not differ to much from that of a spouse or at least a pet, except for a parrot, maybe the worst pet on the planet.

Still, looking forward to seeing all of the anamatronics once the ride opens.

I think a vast majority of positive opinions are guilty of "crapping on" negative viewpoints as well. Members who post positive comments and claim they are being bashed, tend to cry wolf, and proceed to take subtle jabs at the "naysayers" for their views in the process.

No one side is innocent of "crapping on" the other... which brings me back to my point before. If you enjoy the parks, why would someone's negative opinion deter you? And why would you take it upon yourself to prove him/her wrong? If it is so bothersome, there are other areas of the forum where the positive opinions FAR out-weigh the critical opinions.

In relation to the topic at hand. 7DMT animatronics. If you like them, great! I do too. But be aware there are thousands of people on this site, and someone is bound to disagree with you. It's just something I've become aware of after experience on the forum.
