We love 50's Prie Time Cafe. I always get the potroast and it's very good. My DD had the meatloaf and she loved it. We eat there everytime we go to Disney & we have never had a bad meal. It's a lot of fun too, but they do not over do it.

We went in August and loved it. My sister got the fried chicken and we could have fed the whole family with it! Our waiter was excellent too.. make sure to get a milkshake for me! =) (and keep your elbows OFF the table)

I've been there twice in recent years. Loved it both times! The food is great, like moms home cooking :) What you are really paying for though is the experience. The first time I went I was with my mom. When the waitress came to clear our plates she noticed I had a few bites of vegetables left. So she scooped them up on a spoon and the did the airplane into my mouth. She told me I couldn't have dessert unless I cleaned my plate.

We love it there and would go back in a heart beat! Desserts are great too :D

This is one of those places we visit on every trip. The food is good, the atmosphere is great. If you are eating on the DDP make sure if you order a shake or something with your meal that you tell them that that is your desert or wait until after your meal to order it. On our last trip my GF and I figured we would kill 2 birds with 1 stone by ordering shakes with our meals. But then after we were done our "cousin" asked us what we were having for desert. It was too dang hot out for coffee (if you want to call it that), so we actually ended up ordering soda after our meals (we could have ordered a desert but we were too ice creamed out by that point due to the great shakes).

a friend of mine told me her experience with the "airplane", so we had to try it!! (we took ziploc baggies with us just in case!) Our waiter, Cousin Jeff, tried to fix my 14 year old son up with a girl at another table. Sadly, it didn't work out.

A family at another table had finished their meal and were just talking. Cousin Jeff came by, saw the lady, and said, "What did I tell you?" (she had her elbows on the table) He had her get up in front of everybody and sing "I'm a little Teapot". She tried to start a few times, but couldn't remember the words to get started. She said "I'm a kindergarten teacher. I'm supposed to know this!" She was hillarious.

On our last trip, we let my son bring a friend. It's a good thing we were on the dining plan, because that boy could eat & drink the place empty!! Anyway, our waitress brought our drinks and before she finished passing them out, he had drained his glass. She brought him another, but he finished it before his food came. She saw he was out again, so she brought him TEN glasses of Coke. The look on his face was priceless.

Have fun with your waiter/waitress and that makes it even better!

The shakes and other ice cream type drinks are on the dining plan. They count as either your beverage or dessert. I have no idea what exactly was on the menu. I will be there in the beginning of May, I'll be sure to take notes and let you know if no one can answer that question before then.

We love the Dad's brownie. It's huge and it has icecream, m&m's Chocolate fudge and caramel popcorn. I never eat the popcorn though.

I'm not sure about shake flavors, we didn't go to 50's on our last trip. At the Sci Fi they only had vanilla, chocolate and oreo. I had vanilla, my husband had oreo- both were great.

You'll love 50's Prime Time!!!! We've eaten there several times and have had everything from steak to meatloaf to pot roast and it has all been good! My favorite dessert is the apple cobble with ice cream, DH loves the smores and DD loves the sundae! Last time we were there my daughter got caught with her elbows on the table and had to stand with her nose in the corner! Fun atmosphere & great food! You won't be sorry!

We have eaten here a few times and it was alot of fun. The servers really get into their rolls and if you don't eat your veggies, no dessert! I would definately recommend 50's primetime. The food was good too especially the pot roast.
