While I didn't think it was that great either, I don't understand why they closed it so early. At least it would give people something to do until the building needs demolished.

Nothing being there is probably better than Narnia and Jack Sparrow combined

Sorcerer Mickey moved to old Sounds Dangerous and got paired with Minnie for Red Carpet Mickey & Minnie.

Note in that timeline that an empty chill space was deemed a worthy replacement to Jack Sparrow. And I concur.

As of 2015, there were 6 rides. In 2019, there will be 9. That's a net gain of three rides, regardless of if the overall attraction count increased.

3 of which will be tied to the new lands.. still the net gain is too low for the amount of people expected to flock to see star wars land.

A choice between jack sparrow and having a random person slap my freshly purchased drink out of my hand and I would be gladly sacrificing that drink to not have to do jack sparrow

So...are any of the announced projects from D23 yesterday, going to be passed off as part of the 50 for the 50th, even though the 50th is still 4 years away?

I'm sure they will. The major projects: Rat, Tron, Mickey, GoTG, Gondolas and the SW resort probably won't be open much before 2021 so I don't see why they wouldn't count them. I'm assuming that some of the smaller projects leading up to the 50th are not confirmed publicly yet since they won't need to start work for a little while.

Yea but with Disney's construction ratw they will all open in 4 years lol

I'm sure they will count it in one of the 50 things leading up to the 50th...just like SW Land even though that opens in 2019 too.

No qualms with them counting any of these 2020 projects (and they should).

I think the worry was that they were going to start having to count Pandora and Rivers of Light, or individual shops in Star Wars land...

Thankfully they are already well on their way to not needing those to fluff numbers.

Sometimes, I feel like they just don't care. It is like Disney thinks that people are going to come regardless of what is open.

I've heard there will be a push to add more seasonal things at WDW. Seasonal attraction overlays, higher quality shows, etc. @marni1971 @WDW1974 @lentesta is this true?
