Maybe its not going to really be 50 feet high. Maybe its gonna be like Kong, its only going to look like its 50 feet high.

R.I.P. Kong

Nah. They're too much! ;)

Having the Bumble would be really useful. Remember, he can put the star on the top of the Christmas tree without the ladder. This will keep the ladder free for M:S Ladder.

They can also use some of the music from Rudolph for their marketing campaign: "There's always tomorrow for dreams to come true..." :D

P.S. Great Bumble picture.

Now that I think about it there is a resemblance between Yukon Cornelius and Dreamfinder.

Pre show starts out with Burl Ives snow man:

Snow Man: Ah, welcome to chistmas town. The mountain has been excavated by Rudolf's good friend, Ukon Cornelius. He's looking for silver and gold in the mountain.

Clarise: Ah, we know the story line mister. You can tell them tomorrow. *sings, "There's Always Tomorrow"* Because you can see, * Sings, "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow"*

Snow Man: *hits Clarise over the head with his umbrella* By the way, if you're wondering where Herby the misfit elf is, he moved to Rivendell to stay with Elrond and his and the other misfit elves.

*MEAN WHILE IN RIVENDELL*

Herby: *sings "Why am I Such a Misfit?"*

Elrond: Never before has such toungue been bestowed across our land.

Arwen: DADDY! HELP! He tried to do dentestry on me!

*Back in Chistmas town*

Rudolf: Can I go to Rivendell to? I'm a misfit.

Snow Man: No, they have no more vacancy. You can go to Lothlorian instead.

Snow Man: Oh, its hopless. Just fet in those lousy mine cars and look for gold and silver.

Oh Boy!

I suppose Hermie catches a ride, tries to pull a Bumble tooth therefore making it get angry and causing the Bumble to throw us backwards out the mountain.

Lee, does it sound like we pretty much spoiled the whole ride for everyone. :animwink:

Thread Drift = ON

Our bigfoot is actually an incarnation of the asian YETI.
Not the other way around...

If the Yeti was 50 feet tall, then it must be radioactive like in a completely idiotic dental hygenic story I wrote. In the climax, a toothbrush cyborg is trying to defeat a psychotic 4 legged paque monster and foil it's plan to destroy mount everest. then this radioactive yeti comes and mutates them 3 times, the toothbrush cyborg becomes a dragon with minty atomic breath while the plaque monster gained a skull head and the sound of a 1000 fingernails scratchng a chalkboard

Why would disney spend millions making an animatronic Yeti thats 50 ft in size? I don't think they will considering the rides repetetive downtown in it's place. Just look at Kong, its gone. Let's hope this is a SERIOUS Rumor.

Let's look at it this way...how big would a monster have to be to "get as close as humanly possible" to all guests in a train without only letting guests whiz by him? Meaning, if the train is stopped during the encounter, how big would a monster have to be to make all 32 guests in the train impressed? Pretty freakin large...especially for guests in the back row. If he were 10 feet tall, they'd have trouble seeing him over the heads in front of them...10 feet works fine on Matterhorn because the trains are much smaller and the Animatronic is much less impressive, but if they want 32 or so guests to see him and be impressed at his motions, he has to be big.

i remember as a kid being scared out of my mind over the 30 ft kong, so a yeti 20 ft larger than kong would probably scar some kids for life, lol. then too i'm a wimp and EE will be a roller coaster so probably younger kids won't ride it. who knows. still a pretty cool idea though!

Disney is aiming for teenage, testosterone-driven males with this ride, as Eisner explained (I always thought it was really weird wording, but he said it...not me lol)

On the topic of the size of the yeti, despite being a few feet taller than us, I think a 50 ft yeti would defiantly be a wonder in my book. I'd flock to AK opening day just to see it. If the yeti were 9 or so feet, I'd ask the CM there:
"Why didn't we just ram the punk?".

Exactly! The dude is legendary! He better be a spectacle...

Spoiled? No.
Scared off? A few, maybe.
Confused? Yep.

Corrus could probably snuff this 50ft Yeti thing out if he chose to.

Waiting...waiting...
