Thats what I would figure too. 18 months for WWYC and then 18-24 for the 40th.

Disney World's 40th is 2011.
I'm guessing well have one year of "What Will You Celebrate?", one year of nothing for WDW, then the 40th beginning in early 2011.

What's different between the beamway at DL and WDW?
Here's the beam size comparison chart. Disneyland's is smaller. For the biggest beam and the biggest trains however, head up to Seattle where they still operate their snazzy monorail line through the middle of downtown left over from the 1962 World's Fair. The Seattle trains are still from '62 however, and in my opinion the new trains that debuted in Disneyland in 2008 are the best looking, aside from the '59 originals.

Lets see...here are my two cents.
I like the idea of DHS getting a fireworks display, however it might be a pain to close down the whole back end of the park just to do it nightly. So chances of that is slim (it could still happen).
Highly doubt Ireland will be included in WS, since some of it is connected with UK. Then again it could happen.
Pleasure Island with new clubs? Doubtful or they wouldnt have gone through the trouble to close all the old clubs in the first place (hopefully Adventures Club will make a comeback :lookaroun).
40 years of Magic? If DL did it with their 50th, then most likely WDW will do it for their 40th.
La Nuba replaced? It could happen. Although it is a really good show so then again it may not.
Again, these are my opinions about the rumors. Maybe they will all happen, maybe some will happen, or nothing at all. We can only wait until the official announcment from WDW.

So WDW got Sorin, EE and a Stunt show because of DL's 50th but the WDW resort is getting nothing really worthwhile for it's 40th? Oh, and DL gets that pretty spiffy new MEGA e-ticket CarsLand around the same time too...

Following the monorail naming, the next set for WDW would be the Mark VIII.
I wouldn't bet on them being ready for the 40th though unless they are being built from scratch with construction starting a number of years ago and no news leaking out about them.
Hey maybe by the 40th of WDW all of the glitches with the Mark VII over at DLR will be resolved.

Hm. Some of those things will definitely happen (SM, castle), others are good chances to probable (hot tubs, Moderates refurb, TT, 40 years, Toy Story), and the rest of it is highly unlikely to not happening (Mark VIII, Pleasure Island, La Nouba, Ireland).
All my opinion, of course, but there ya go.

Agreed. La Nouba will never become a Disney on Ice rink, there's nowhere to put a "40 Years of Magic" show/display, and we would have already seen some semblance of Ireland making its way into WS.
