I will be in the MK on October 1, 40th WDW anniversary, and I have to confess I expected a LITTLE more. Extended opening hours, a stage presentation in the morning, a different ending for Wishes, some artists, oh yes and cupcakes.
That's all? Wow, that is soo...underwhelming.

Am I the only one who expected MUCH more? At least a special parade or something on a larger scale?

and don't forget about the special MK guide maps for Today!

Speaking of the maps it is indeed a free for all and everyone seems like their grabbing boatloads!! The opening day map also has pics of extinct attractions to torment us, as well!!

Anyone know if the maps might still be floating around come Monday, or will they pull them after today?

I noticed CM's are now handing them out and the regular maps are back in their location. I guess they don't want people grabbing tons. I saw a dude grab several handfuls and stashed them in his backpack!
