Hey folks, just came back from the world yesterday and took a ton of photos... Here is a photo update of the ongoing construction over at the Disney-MGM Studios... -I had to stand on several half-walls and trash cans to get some of these, so you better appreciate them! lol :animwink:

*AK and Epcot update will be up later tonight

*I'd be more than happy to share my photos with you, all you have to do is ask and give proper credit... don't just take them without asking, because thats just not nice. :)

Awesome, thanks! I like the new 'Frisco facade so much better than the last, the last one looked really fake.

This one's not quite perfect either, but I'll admit it is much better than the test one that was up earlier. I just wish they could have used the same forced perspective technique used on NY.

It was an open-air counter service restaurant between the HISTK playground and the Backlot Tour. I believe it was a few years ago when it just closed and sat empty until now. Not long ago, construction walls went up. No word yet on whether it is going to be re-opened or replaced by something else.

Studio Catering Company will reopen on May 5 in conjuction with the Happiest Celebration on Earth, and LMA. It's being put in to provide somewhere for all those hungry people to go eat, now that there's a reason to be back there.

As a side note, a full service bar will also be put in there so that mom and dad can enjoy some adult beverages before staggering their way over to LMA.

Any word on whether or not the "Streets of America" will be completed by then?

Nice pics. I see they used real car models too. I see a Saturn, Jeep, Mustang, Accord, WRX, and a MR2 among others. :) Wonder if those companies are sponsors?

I can't believe there's going to be a bar back there too. Well now they have a place that a true New Orleans native like myself can feel at home. Now if only it would be serving 24/7 like down here I'd be set. Don't worry, you won't see me staggering or getting rowdy. I'm a trained professional. :D

I actually think this one is just as believable, if not more, than what the NY one is. Take a look at the pic that looks down the street directly at it. it's almost ridiculous how good that is. Geniuses of forced perspective!
