32 DHS Secrets

Yeah, about those broken glasses....there are actually nods to all 156 original Twilight Zone episodes hidden throughout the ride.

I was told by a Cast Member at ToT that the glasses are no longer there. Given that she "broke character" a bit and seemed genuinely disappointed, I believe her. If that's incorrect, I've certainly no doubt that she was under that impression.

One of my favorites...in the Great Movie Ride, pay attention to the monitors in the Alien scene.

You'll get such jokes as:
"Time To Next Special Effect Failure: 45.8 Years"
"The Nostromo Welcomes All Aliens Visiting Today From The Glendale Galaxy. We Hope You Have A Pleasant Stay With Us"

Another monitor features the names of Imagineers who worked on the attraction, presented as "Crazy Credits".
"GLENN KOCH -- INTERGALACTIC GOO ANALYST"
"DOUG GRIFFITH -- STILL PROGRAMMING THE WITCH"
"RON BEUMER -- ***MISSING***"
"JOHN SULLIVAN -- LOOKING FOR RON BEUMER"

One of my favorite ToT secrets (besides the nods to the series) was the EIVL TOWER UR DOOMED message made from fallen letters at the bottom of the directory listing before you enter the pre-show. Unfortunately that seems to be gone now; I think I remember hearing it might have just been CMs doing this instead of anything official. Either way it wasn't there last month. link with picture

Here's another one- the crates outside Min & Bill's Dockside Diner at Echo Lake all have addresses on them. Read 'em, you'll find some nice surprises.

Does anyone have a photo of these? I would love to see and don't want to wait until I get back there sometime.

If you look to the left of Tatooine Traders in the Star Tours queue, you can see the original Endor Vendors is still there!

Thank you for being so helpful.
You're welcome. There's plenty of results. An earlier post actually did provide a direct link.

I've not seen the letters for a while now spelling anything. If I recall it was a non WDI sanctioned bit of fun the Bellhops had. They'd spell it out, then SQ would remove it. Much like the hidden Mickey plates in the HM ballroom.

FYI.... @marni1971 is probably one of the most knowledgeable and helpful people on here and he may not have sent the link but being snarky is one way to get requests for help ignored in the future. Not trying to start a barbie doll fight here just passing along some helpful advice...take it or leave it.

My apologies. I am simply not seeing the link that was provided for the crates. And I did do a google image search and posted the results. (ETA: There were very few.)

Quoted for @SnarkyMonkey (link is last sentence)

Edit - cross purposes. I thought you were looking for a ToT letters photo.

Apologies. I'm full of flu.
