The Mortimer& Co ciment imprint on the side walk at the corner of Sunset and Hollywood Boulevards, where is now the new StarBuck. A tribute to the previous name for Mickey in 1928, name that was denied by Lilian Disney (thank God)

Two more things are now a thing of the past. #1... the BAH is gone, gone, gone, gone, gone. and #16...A net full of jello is no longer there either. That one I will miss.

Wait.. what? What happened to the jello? When/why did it get taken down?
I don't know when. It was there that last time I went to the show, but, that was before Annette passed away. My guess is that it was out of respect for her and what she meant to Disney. It's one thing to poke fun at a name when they are still around to appreciate it, but, can be seen as a little tacky after they have passed. I have mixed emotions about it and on some level think it is over the top sensitivity like the purple monorail fiasco that was recently discussed. At least, this might have been in respect for the person and not an object.

Erm..... you do realize someone died on Monorail Purple?

I'm so glad I got to see the jello when I went last year. I do remember a couple months later her death on the news, but I never thought about the disney easter egg.:( Oh well, we still have the key under the mat and the 2-D fru-ds.
