So is this individual or group, I didn't really read the directions and also want to boost my posts so I'm gonna ask now
I believe it's open brainstorming.
Yeah, not really a competition. Just a for fun working on stuff!

Okay, this might sound a little crazy.

Blizzard Mountain

It's a giant, icy mountain in HKDL (looks like a mix of Everest and Matterhorn) between TSL and FL. The thing is that there is an indoor land inside the mountain.

The mountain would have an omnimover dark ride through glistening crystal caverns, a drop tower through the mountain interrupted by a yeti, and the obligatory roller coaster where you escape from said yeti.

Sound good?
Also, a Frozen subland to Fantasyland featuring the mountain Elsa climbs in the movie with a Toboggan race. Basically a mix of Matterhorn and Dueling Dragons in concept

Blizzard Mountain with Elsa's Ice Castle on top with force perspective to look really far away. Omnimover Frozen Dark Ride focused on the ice caves and glistening crystal caverns. Yeti Drop Tower through the center of the Mountain (maybe replace Yeti with Marshmallow to tie to Frozen and distinguish from Everest/Matterhorn. And Tobbogan Race around mostly the outside of the mountain as a dueling coaster kind of thing. Possibly with Yeti or Marshmallow interference.

I like it!

Dragon Mountain for TKDL
Give Toontown a more Japanese feel, and build a replica of Mount Fuigi home to a kiddie coaster themed to dragons (in the far east dragons are seen as good friendly beings).
Oooooh that's interesting! If it is in Toon Town, do you think we should tie any Fab Five type characters into it? Like Goofy going through a dragon mountain expedition or something?

Here's an idea for a park mountain that isn't an E-Ticket

Mall Mountain

It's a tall, beautiful, stone mountain (with waterfall) that looks completely natural on the outside, but on the inside is a multi-level shopping district with several shops and restaurants. Maybe also a small peoplemover ride that goes through and around the mountain.

Add a roller coaster in there just so mindbender and rock bottom plunge have some competition!

Alright!

We have 31 Prompts! We can keep ideas coming though if you guys have more! Maybe combining some days doing two at once or have this go into January or something. But we have our 31!

I did cut out one of mine completely, so I'll throw it out now at a warm up!

December 1st - Part 2
Make a Fourth Mountain for any Castle Park (But not Fire Mountain because that's been done a lot)

So, any ideas for a new ride to join the ranks of Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, and Splash Mountain?
Dragon Mountain.
The Mountain’s design will resemble
bulg120711_012vihren.jpg

And the queue will be the ruins of an abandoned castle with tapestries depicting two castles; one in the valley (which we are in), and one built high up in the mountain. They tell about how the castles were ran by two brothers, and that one day, a dragon came and claimed the castle as it’s own, and the lives of its inhabitants. Angered by the dragon’s attacks and the death of his brother, he sent many men to slay the dragon, but non prevail. He sent men till he was a poor man and went up the mountain, never to be seen again.
The attraction is a SFX coaster, with outdoor scenes; for the more calmer mountains traveling up the mountain and coming back to the valley castle; and indoor sections for a charred forest area, the mountain castle, a giant cavern, and the dragon chase sequence. There will be mostly AAs and many techniques such as the Pepper’s Ghost effect and 9 to 10 scale to create illusions.

So let's see our ideas:
  • Blizzard Mountain (Frozen)
  • Tokyo Dragon Mountain in Towntown
  • Subterranean Mountain
  • Mall Mountain (Shopping DIstrict)
  • Dragon Mountain (SFX Coaster)
I'm loving how crazy and outside the box all these ideas are! I'm thinking this is gonna be a really interesting month!

Blizzard Mountain sounds awesome! But it would need to be pretty huge to fit three or so rides in it. Might be a better fit for a noncastle park due to its size. But it is an amazing idea.

Tokyo Dragon Mountain in Toontown is incredibly intriguing to me. Some more ties to Toontown theming would be nice. Could really give Tokyo the distinct and amazing Toontown it deserves.

Subterranean Mountain and Dragon Mountain are both great! I don't really have thoughts on them myself.

Mall Mountain, I'm not entirely sure if this was meant as a serious idea or not. But I kinda love it. It would make a great substitue for Disney Springs/Downtown disney for Hong Kong. The Mountain like structure could help it blend into the mountain of the surrounding area a bit plus give Hong Kong another impressive and unique element to help the resort stand out from Shanghai.

So, how do you guys want this thread to work? Do you want us to try to come to a consensus each day as to what idea we "choose" or do we want to just have fun throwing out, sharing, and building off of each other's ideas? I'd probably vote on not "choosing" one idea. But I'm good with whatever you guys want!
